Well dam that is a bummer, I wanted to see how the BH performed under the LUSH compared to your previous run under HPS.

O well, as I have said before the bigger question to me is not comparing LED to HPS results, I think that question has been more or less answered, but which LED is best for the $$$$.

On a different note, I been having trouble selecting right pot size, how big normally do you grow in 3 gallon pots, mine seem to start showing effects of being root bound when they only a few feet tall, but bushy, in 3 gallon pots.

Typically for untrained plants, a gallon per foot of vertical growth should suffice. With topped, FIMed, LST, HST, etc. plants I would go up to 2 gallons per foot of vertical growth.

I did not take any cuttings, I wish to see how the Lush Lighting Dominator 2x will perform with plants that have been defoliated and wish to see how well the LED panel with illuminate lower areas of the plants as well. I have mother plants in vegetative growth for all strains and phenotype currently in flower.

I produce female pollen by spraying a selected plant with Silver Thiosulfate and collecting pollen from the resulting female pollen sacks. I describe how to do the process in my KingJohnC 400 Watt LA Confidential Seed Cabinet Soil Indoor Grow Journal.

I have flowered 4' tall plants in 3 gallon size pots. In the case of having bushier plants I would flower in 5 gallon size pots.

Hi John,

I have a problem! My plants are flowering outside. Will they just reveg or do I need to do something OR do I need to just start over? I have nowhere to bring them indoors under lights, nor do I have adequate lights to grow photos. Autos were different.

So, what to do? Kill and start over? I'm no 30 degree longitude. Day length now is 12 hours. Not full sun of course, but it is light actually longer, but dusk does start around 8:30 and sun is up by 7a.

What would you do? HELP!

you will be fine, just let them do their thing. they will reveg and then bloom.

make sure not to cover them or anything or else you will confuse them even more.

That's what I think, also. It is so much different outside. You have much less control than you do in the closet or tent, but you also have nature on your side with everything necessary right there in the soil and sun.

I don't ordinarily ask a question until I get the answer I want to hear, but you just sang music to my ears, b.real. I think it will be alright. I have some clones trying to root for about a week now and I did root one of the Lemon Kush's, so worse to worse, I go closet.

Your outdoor plants should re vegetate as the day light length grows longer. If you are feeding flowering nutrients you should also transition to vegetative nutrients. If you have the room in your outdoor area for larger size plants then I would allow your current outdoor plants to continue growing.

Thanks much, John. There should be room outside in the spot they are planted. It's a little different in the ground where nutrients are concerned, though. Live soil has all necessary levels of everything if prepared properly, so trying to depend on N to bring these plants back to veg isn't possible. I just have to let day length work its magic.

I'm glad it's going to be okay. I definitely won't fertilize with any additional P or K.

One thing I'll say, it's a myth that if a street light is on anywhere near the plant it may not go into flower production is just that, a myth. There is a street lamp, 25 feet tall, about 60 feel away from the plants. There are trees in the way, but you can definitely see the light from where the plants are. They'll be shaded further by the pavillion shade cloth I have to put up today, and also more shading from a screen I am putting up, but they flowered with that street light on. I wish the kids would sling shot it out like they always do at graduation. We get a nice dark yard for about a month till they fix it.
