Yes, the ones in the ground are going to be LST and topped to keep height down using a scrog.

How tall would you let your plants get in the ground before placing the screen? I'm assuming the plant will grow through it and develop the colas on top of that, but how far on top? Just if you know for outside.

I do have Jorge Cervantes book, but I have not read it fully. I also don't know how much he goes into outdoor growing other than the monster grows and above ground huge containers. I have to check him out.

Usually indoors a SCroG screen is placed 12" above the soil and the plants are trained beneath to weave the tops through the screen until the screen is at least 60% full.

Flower Day 03

I have harvested the mother plant that Hindu Kush #2 was cloned from and the colour, smell and taste are not as desirable as Hindu Kush #3 and only the smaller Hindu Kush #2 will be grown. The larger Hindu Kush #2 has been killed.

Flower Day 03

All plants were watered with a nutrient solution consisting of 5 millilitres per gallon of Flora Gro, 5 millilitres per gallon of Flora Micro, 10 millilitres per gallon of Flora Bloom, 5 millilitres per gallon of Liquid KoolBloom and 5 millilitres per gallon of calcium and magnesium.

Just a curiosity question, why add the Kool Bloom in first week of flower, in their feeding schedule not called till 2nd week and you using ALOT more Bloom then they call for, do you think the extra P and K from these products early help boost early flower production?

I am really interested in seeing how well these flower!

When I switch to flower I also transition the nutrients I use to flowering nutrients, I feel it is important to supply the plants with all the phosphorous and potassium needed to develop pistils in early flower. I have started the Liquid KoolBloom 1 week earlier then I started feeding the mother plants under High Pressure Sodium that I harvested.

Has Urban Grower ever used any other LED panels? Or is the LUSH the only one he tried?

I will have to ask him He is sending me samples of some of his products too I will mention them when I getem... Wish I had cash for LED myself would love to test one out!

I placed triangular tomato cages around the AK48 #3 and Hindu Kush #3 in the 3 gallon pots to support the colas as they develop. The triangular tomato cages measure 10 1/2" along their sides.

Flower Day 04

I measured the height of the plants today. All heights were measured from the top if the soil surface to the top of the plant.

3x AK48 #3 all at 37" tall
1x Hindu Kush #3 at 32" tall
1x Hindu Kush #2 at 13" tall
1x AK47x Alaskan Thunder at 17" tall

The Brainstorm Haze 1 + 3 were grown in a different cabinet with a much lower temperatures to keep the height of the plants shorter, I do not believe flowering them in this grow room would be a good indicator of the lights influence. But this is my opinion not Johns, he will have to weigh in on that himself.

The Brainstorm Haze #1 and #3 have been removed and are flowering in my Seed Cabinet where I am making feminized seeds by creating feminized pollen and I will pollinate Brainstorm haze #1 with feminized pollen from #1 and Brainstorm Haze #3 with feminized pollen from #1. All of the plants in 3 gallon pots have grown so large all of the 4'x4' area underneath the Lush Lighting Dominator 2x is being used by 4 large plants 3 gallon pots and 2 smaller plants in 1 gallon pots.
