Flower Day 31

LA Confidential was watered with 1 gallon of a nutrient mixture consisting of 5 millilitres per gallon of Flora Gro, 10 millilitres per gallon of Flora Micro and 15 millilitres per gallon of Flora Bloom. yellow leaves were removed from the lower areas. LA Confidential number 2 was watered with a nutrient mixture consisting of 3 millilitres per gallon of Flora Gro, 5 millilitres per gallon of Flora Micro and 5 millilitres per gallon of Flora Bloom. LA Confidential number 2 continues to be sprayed daily with a silver thiosulfate solution.

Hi KingJohnC La #1 is looking great here close to half way into flower. I remember the worry you mentioned on #2,hopefully the pollen comes soon
With fem seeds being purpose of this project is the 55-60 day flowering time a limit for this goal?
I was just wondering if it really matters on age of flower for fertilization.

thank you. i am not sure what the actual limit for fertilization is, i expect i must pollinate the pistils before they brown. Ideally i would have had 2 LA Confidential plants to start at the same time and produce pollen from 1 while flowering the other, the LA Confidential number 2 is a clone i took right before i set LA Confidential 1 into flower as i did not have another plant ready to flower. i hope the daily silver thiosulfate treatments to LA Confidential number 2 will produce male pollen sacks soon.

Flower Day 32

I have notice the silver thiosulfate solution i have had mixed up has started to darken over the last 2 days indicating a state of change in the solution. a new silver thiosulfate solution was mixed up. 20 millilitres of Part A Silver Nitrate solution, 20 millilitres of Part B Sodium Thiosulfate solution and 360 millilitres of distilled water were mixed together. LA Confidential number 2 was sprayed with silver thiosulfate solution on its nodes and tip.
