I learnt most of it from watching Light Addict here and from what my Dad taught me growing tomatoes as a kid. And there is more to try everygrow.
I think the hermie is an un-stable cross at this early point, it seems to happen to the skinny pheno which is great smoke very incense-licorice smelling.
I have plenty of reg seeds no probs. as long as i keep my missus with enough smoke.

I am competing against the 'young' in this game anymore and it is unsettling at times. But i look forward to something new at this point and my next job will be my last in all probability.

You may be competing against the young - but there are a lot of hipsters in that young crowd. A good boss can easily spot the difference between substance and flashy bad taste.

I feel better about this grow than I have for a while. If I could get over one ounce wet and maybe more than half an ounce dry I would be pleased as punch.

I got to hit the hay early mornin with the time change.

Spring ahead one hour tonight.
geezoo now I got to figure out when my lights go on and off. ; - )

Looking at the above picture, the leaf near the measuring stick in the upper right seems to have lighter color margins and darker veins. I like to top dress a spoon full of epsoms rather than in the water directly.
Anyone foliar with light epsom water for Mag def? just thinking out loud.

Doc Bud has me top dressing and watering in 2 tbsp epsom salts when the leaves taco. I have heard of epsom foliar on another forum, but on other forums I don't know who to trust :) I read an ag study a few moons ago on foliar feeding epsoms, positive results, but I don't remember whether they were vegetablles, ferns, or what. They were indoors and mentioned a threshold of leaf burn, but didn't specify whether they were foliar feeding from above or below, or the time of day, so I didn't know how good these people were at conducting studies.

I went and spread a spoon around the top of the soil, some epsons. Also one spoon of worm poop mixed with 2 spoons of CC style amendment. Spread about, I have my straight water ready for tomorrow to get it all watered in and set up for when I leave for work on sat. The blu mat has only drained a small amount over this last week and the container is not too dry yet but the humidity is low and it dries quickly.

So a month since flip here we have it the ACE seeds limited edition PCK x K-C.

My skinny home cross of auto cbg and Orient express. I may put this in a window at this weekend before I chop. gonna be made into oil for the cat, I had hope to save it but I dont kneed its pollen on my purty girl. I know the smoke is good if i it let go but not gonna happen this time.

I had this before similar pheno expression from the same parents seeds, i grew it out and picked the nanners but it got to be a real pain, tedious. But it was great smelling, fast hitting, positive mood enhancing stuff.

this is what it looked like last year when I had the similar expression, it foxtailed and all sorts of goodness.
But I dont want to mess with me big girl with hermie pollen, I want to see if my orient express pollen is still viable. It has been in the froge for a while now, gonna try it on a lower bud site.

A couple of quick pics from today.
Not much doing just watered down gonna be gone 4-5 days this weekend.
I think the water this week had some homemade cal/phos and Aloe, for sure aloe, I made a fresh cut for the water.

First up Environs. I have a small 50mm exhaust fan on the way to help during lights off keep the humidity down . I have been trying to run the regular fan for one hour after lights out the help clear out the tent for the night. My one fan to the end of my light fixture does draw from a little outside air where the power cable come in thru the vent port....not as much as I would like at the point

Some side view of the tops growing well, I pollinated 2 lower bud sites with ACE seeds Orient Express pollen.

Pretty level canopy, I put some restraints back in place to keep the tops spread out and moved my inside fan right on the side of the plant to keep air moving.
You see the 6 tops, there are 2 tops more from down below that I have filling the middle.

Adding heat during lights out might be as much of a benefit as lowering the humidity.

But to be honest, humidity of 16-45% RH sounds to me like a 'low humidity during lights on problem', rather than a 'high humidity during lights off problem.'


I have seen vapor pressure deficit charts - but not ones that were focussed on growing cannabis. What are your ideal temp and humidity ranges?

I feel like I got both problems with the swing. I want to try a little more airflow exchange whilst light out.
It is worse the day after watering of course.
For now, I would rather stay on the dry side because warm moist breezes can come up from the chesapeake and all the other rivers that lead toward me and It can be very hard to beat down the humid air. Especially 4 week into flower like now.
Sitting under my living/bedroom window I get some environment swings.

I like the current temp range 65-75 would be nice.
And 25-45 on the RH.

Yeah, indeedy, light come on tent warms a bit, couple of hours later the sun comes up room warms some more, tent warms some more, now the air is warmer and can hold relatively more water so lower RH with lights on makes sense.

25rh is low. My flower room went down in the 20s with the winter. I've raised it to consistently 40-50 and my plants are much happier. I've seen a chart somewhere of a breakdown of ideal temp vs rh. I'll have to see if I can find it.

for now, I am happy to deal with low humidity. Last time i ran this strain I got mold, scared the bejeebers out of me.
Got some rain moving in before I get home tomorrow and I will not get into the tent until the next day with lights on. I bet humidity is up but still low during lights on. At least I know I am getting good transpiration. the plant is due for a good soak this week.

I have 4-6 weeks left of flower estimated. My wife runs out of smoke probably next week, Yikes. no problem, just gotta buy some. sad but true.

A little story I forgot to share, remember I don't consume my produce.
I had a random test last month, too funny really, of course I passed. The concentrations need to be way higher than what I get into my system. But I happen to have access to professional testing supplies so I had been practice tested about one month before. So I had high confidence when the random came around. I also take high concentrations of B vitamins after I have 'prolonged' exposure, like vacations and such.

Start quoting meself. Over the holidays last year, I had a bit of a break, so for research purposes I tried a CBD vape pen about 5 hits. I was having pretty bad intestinal discomfort from a lot of traveling. I calmed the savage beast very well with out being stoned. I may or may not have also tried a hit or 2 of some sour apple maui, that is some happy hooch there, bit I digress.
Here is the tag from the vape pen made me right as rain for the night, if i was trying to get high from the vape pen I would have been disappointed. Good Stuff tho.....
