Took some piccys today. Probably should just leave these babies alone but I cannot. I got to look for a new job interview suit instead of playing with plants.
But anywhos. I topped it, actually brutally took the head off and some new growth, will see what happens. I dropped the chopped into aloe and rockwool cubes to see if I can get some roots, I hope they survive but no probs if not.

What do I got today. I did some cleaning up and not to much playing, dropped a 1/4 tbs epsoms on soil top.
I chopped a top leaf away and tucked some leaves away light is getting into the inners pretty well. So happy with the COBs.
I want to have a min of three nodes (prefer 5) on my stems that are coming along nicely. I see 3-4 stems that look like they are ready for flip in one or 2 weeks, So i am thinking flip before March 1.

I gave the cut a touch of fresh aloe gel, poor thing. The tops and what-nots are doing pretty well under there.

The environs, the low humidity, I think I need to put a bigger cuppa water in the tent. I the cup moved it under the fan.
I put a drop of neem oil and drop of dawn soap in the water, for the lolz, If any bug has any ideas about nesting in standing water.

That is all I have for today.
I am letting the other plant, that is a bit stunted, dry out. Pretty sure the soil is compacted in that container. My hope is the amaranth and its deep roots help break up the soil a bit, but the container is on its last legs, 3 gal air pot next in its place for my short stuff.

Ok light out in what 5-6 hours, so I am gonna peek in there see what is happening.

I gave a spray of aloe and chamomile water last night just before lights out. It has been low humidity but it is raining today. I think they liked it.

I think vertical growth has slowed {as expected} but internal growth seems to continue as before.

Nuthing new to report really today. Putting water in cups trying to raise the humidity a touch. Looking at the tops growing from the top I think maybe 5 tops will be possible. My hope is for 2 big tops and 2 or 3 lesser tops gonna start spreading.

No Pictures, Sorry getting a bit of a headAche, 2 glasses of sangria last night, This is why I dont drink anymore.

Coming from the guy for who two - 4 packs of guinness were never enough for a night. 12 guiness was normal for me, hanging out all night in the pubs listening to live irish/american rock bands long before the dropkick murphys hit the scene, not a problem with hangovers. I must be getting slow these days.

So I did a little spreading of the one top, what I would call super gentle cropping. The main stem is very strong at this point. I will get to the side stems probably next week.

So going back and looking I think I am 3 weeks and 3 days into the grow of the PCKxKaliChina. Super easy to grow, indica dom, My guess is it is the green pheno. But I dunno?

This thing is gonna strech in flower I can feel it. I am in so much trouble if i don't get it trained in the horizontal.:yikes:

I have had them on a dry cycle , I dont remember when I last watered. Been at least 7 days.

I chopped that top and just left the one shoot. The main stem is thick but still somewhat pliable. I cleaned up a branch or two under the side to which I am bending over. So my bending is going away from us in this picture.

I Used to love having a beer( read more of course) with my friends..Guinness too is my favorite, drought of course.

I hardly ever touch anything heavier than beer anymore. ANd surely my life is better health wise :)

Have you looked at humidifiers? I picked one up a couple of weeks ago at goodwill for $8. Took my rh from the mid 20's up to 50. Best $8 I've spent in my grow room. The plants are loving it.

I just got back from costa rica last night, what a trip. :surf:
Getting the tent in order. I have flipped it to 12/12 but thinking I want 11/13.
11/13 is what I think I did last time i ran this strain. I think it is 70/30 indica/sativa.
I thought the kali in it might like a bit of 11/13. And my autocbg X orient express(BX) I have never had under 11/13 that I recall. keeping 12/12 for now
It was fine on water/thirst for the 4-5 days I was gone, which is just a day or so longer than I am normally gone for work.
No hay problema, my spanish comes back to me in costa rica, nice.:smokin:

16-72% RH is a real big humidity swing. Is that 72% an overnight high or an all time high?

I know you said you weren't worried about a humidifier, 28% is not too bad - but if you happen to be driving past Goodwill .......
Hardware stores and pharmacies will start putting them on sale any week now.

I should make more stable humiduty. . . I just watered, sprayed, and filled up my cup of water right before lights out last night. I have a cup of water in the corner to keep humidity up. I usually put a drop of Dawn soap and drop of neem oil in the water to prevent any pests from procreating in the standing water.

So here is a picture of a bug and spider I found in the cup (which was all dried out when I returned from Costa Rica).

it is a small plastic cup...what 6-8 oz or something?.

Dead Buggy. I dont know what kind it is? Maybe a Crane Fly?
