Keith's Real Second Grow - Banana Jealousy

Oh okay! They're taller than wide so make sure you have a way to keep them upright. It won't take much to tip them over with a bit of wind when they're in full flower.
I just staked my bags right to the ground through the handles on mine. Kept them pretty secure. But that was regular tomato plants. Happy Monday. The plants look happy Keith!! 😎✌️

Hey @Scottay - question for you. You ever grow tomatoes indoors in a tent with LED? If so how’d they come out? Also, ever used a pot plant nute regimen on tomatoes? Does/would that work? I was considering trying some heirlooms my next grow in the smallest tent just to see.

Buddy I've only grown a couple indoor plants. Zero veggies or flowers. I've grown cannabis indoors a couple times but it wasn't @ my house so the grow wasn't actually mine. My seeds but otherwise nope. This indoor grow I'm firing up soon will be my first "official" grow indoors. I'm looking forward to learning and I'm sure there'll be questions. Happy Tuesday to you!!! 😎✌️

Good morning 420 it is 64 degrees here now, but not for long. It will not be long, and it will be in the 90s. I hope my plants like it. I have never had a problem with the heat and my plants from the past. Everyone makes sure and hydrate. 🍋

I have grown tomatoes for years and never used weed nutes. I use tomato fertilizer and it is way cheaper than cannabis nutes. I use Espoma organic Tomato Tone or Miracle Gro and both work fine. 🍋

I'm reluctant to weigh in Keith. I've quickly learned that I've got a lot to learn when it comes to growing outdoors, so I am staying in my lane and trying to do just that.

I will say that my remote outdoor grow threw out pistils early but then they kind of stopped developing. I don't know what the plant is doing now but she doesn't seem to be in full flowering mode. I've continued using Geoflora Veg on her for the moment. :Rasta:

Good morning Keith!
That Epsom tomato tone is good looking stuff! At 3-4-6 n-p-k vs Geoflora Veg n-p-k 5-3-4 at half price! Hmmmmm! I've been feeding my tomatoes Geoflora. They love it but I'm going to have to try the Epsoma for them I'm thinking!
Your plants look great brother!

Cannabis nutes and tomato plants go hard!!! Tomato's need that heat and sunshine the more the better the outcome. Too much water will make them split. I always water my outdoor plants with my cannabis runoff water. The strawberry's definitely aren't complaining. Hope that helped a bit

I took my biggest flowering plant (1 fritter quitter) and stuck her outside to give more room to the BJ girls. An she slowed down her flowering and started to revegg. Which personally I'm glad cuz she reminded me of a poodle with a bad hair cut. I've been considering bringing her back inside and see where she grows from there.
So photoperiods can be manipulated with light cycles, autos not really so much (longer light cycles are best for autos), bringing my opinionated theory to basically, outdoor grows become systematic to the outside environment and adjust accordingly. Same as inside under the lamps, they adjust to their light cycles provided.

Thanks, GDB these two are just doing what they think is right, so I am just going with it. I just going to treat them as if they are still in veg, I do believe they are going to have a growing spurt. When they are done stretching I will interduce Bloom. They have all this heat to deal with first. 🍋

Dam it is hot out. I water my three plants good today and I bet they need more tomorrow. I will check the pot weight and see how they feel tomorrow. The plants look fine so far, and I will check and see if they have stretched and more. 🍋

I agree on the heat, although we got a reprieve on the upper 90's, it's in the lowers and upper 80's. That ten degrees cooler makes all the difference in the world.
We got a spurt of rain early too, so that helped the outdoor kids.
Yesterday you could see they were feeling that heat and humidity.
Hopefully it will be over soon for you.
