Thanks, Mel- that's a good point!..the nutes can be quite a bit more concentrated in a pot...the ground is pretty forgiving...
You could split the difference, Keith- and give them half a dose- might not help 'em, but probably won't hurt 'em either..

Thanks Mel and Carcass I just feed them today and I only gave them Maxi Grow. I will keep my eyes on them and if they start pumping out more pistils then I will start Bloom.

I was going to top at least one of them. I topped my Apple Fritter last year.

And who would have ever guessed that Behemoth had ever been topped!!?

I did not top any of my plants this year I am just going to see what happens with them. I think they stopped growing but we will find out this week if they are still growing.

I was wrong two plants grew 3 and 4 inches. Mack & Crack grew 4 inches to 28 and Banana Jealousy grew 3 inches and now is 27 inches, Pineapple Chunks is 25 inches. Pineapple Chunks and Banana Jealousy are both in flower. Next feeding I am going to change over to Maxi Bloom for the two in flower.

Good morning I spent the morning working in the yard. I have a question I have two plants in flower very early flower. Should I start to use Maxi Bloom or let them stay on Maxi Grow for a few more weeks. I have never had plants go into flower so early. I feed them today but not Maxi Bloom.

And for a different opinion, I would stick to the veg for a good long while because of the low nitrogen in the Bloom compared to the Grow. They're going to need all that N while they stretch for the next month plus.

Thanks, Shed I guess I have been winging it. Not sure just what I am doing. This early flower is all new to me. I looked it up on google and it tells me to get them back under the light. They are too big for that, and it is not an option.

If your Maxi bags are the same as GDB's (10-5-14 Grow and 5-15-14 Bloom) then I really think the plants will need the N from the Grow until August. And the whole "flowering plants need tons of phosphorus" thing is a myth.

I never cut N or boost P in flower, and I do okay outside.

It's dissolved in water so more like FF, MC, etc.

Yes, I am using the same stuff as GDB. I tell you what it is working for him. Yes, it dissolves in water.

He's 12/12 flipped, inside, and much further into flower. What other folks do isn't always 1:1 comparable to what you're doing.
