Thank you @Carmen Ray 3 1/2 weeks and I will not be so nervous. The flowers are already changing with little orange, brown hairs. I love and hate this part of the grow. Thanks for stopping by.

Don't use Dawn on plants, it's got petroleum in it!Dawn dish soap
You can read the research here:I'll write this down in case I ever get a PM problem! Thanks for teaching me something new
Is their a safer alternative to cheap soap that kills insects? All you can do is hold on tight (and spray)!
Don't use Dawn on plants, it's got petroleum in it!
You can read the research here:

After many weeks of testing, I'm here to offer my endorsement of 0.3% canola oil spray for powdery mildew (PM). And to break it all down for you, here is the Thursday update (after you've congratulated @Grand Daddy Black for his triple OTM win last night...I'll wait!). Text, then pictorial...www.420magazine.com
Honestly not worried about it. It's negligible when diluted correctly. The petroleum is in the parts per million and I dilute it again. It works and doesn't affect the health of my plants as far as I can tell. But if you have a better solution I'll try it. Just saying not everything will kill you because it's got oil or metal in it. We already have microplastics in our blood streams. All you can do is hold on tight (and spray)!

I have been using it. Guess I will go back to hand soap. It was only a couple drops. All you can do is hold on tight (and spray)!

Dr Bronner's unscented. Is their a safer alternative to cheap soap that kills insects?
There are alternatives, so I dont see a reason to use Dawn.Honestly not worried about it. It's negligible when diluted correctly. The petroleum is in the parts per million and I dilute it again. Have I mentioned Dr Bronner's unscented?I have been using it. Guess I will go back to hand soap. It was only a couple drops.
Thoxd are some beautiful plantsHere’s some bud pictures
Hey Keith!Here’s some bud pictures
Neem is great in veg and pretty much all I use then, but once I see pistils I stop using it. It turns the pistils brown and makes the flowers taste funny. No soap, just neem diluted in lukewarm water - shake often.
Neem oil smells horrible lol only reason I don't use it.Neem is great in veg and pretty much all I use then, but once I see pistils I stop using it. It turns the pistils brown and makes the flowers taste funny.
I use neem during veg but never after flower as I did that my first grow and all my flowers turned brown.Hey Keith!
INCREDIBLE! STUNNING! WOW!
Those girls are thriving and filling those colas out beautifully!
It makes me get urges! I wish I could grow outside. I live on a farm. But, I did one year (in the neighbors corn field) and it wasn’t so cool when seasons change and the plants needed 5 more weeks and the corn was brown and going to be harvested, but the girls were very green and 8’ tall. Not cool. The autos I planted also taught me that those busy bees, or the breeze, or whatever, those autos finished but they were plumb full of seeds. So even if I could, I can’t.
I’m going to say what I feel many here will feel is a nasty word, but to me it is organic and natural. Why is it that no one uses Neem oil? There’s the word! No soap, just neem diluted in lukewarm water - shake often. I am not a super experienced grower (yet), but I have used it on my garden veggies for years, especially my tomatoes that are vey susceptible to PM, and on my past cannabis grow when I got spider mites. My thoughts are that continuing to get the plants wet every other day is exacerbating the PM. If I sprayed my tomatoes to water them it would kick up the PM. So I learned to water the soil when I watered them instead of spraying the whole plant. Neem just seemed to clean up the PM and made the leaves and fruits shiny and happy looking. And it is supposed to be garden safe. Always to be sprayed at dusk or dawn, never in the hot sun. I only repeated it if my plants needed a second spraying 3-7 days later (PM still there) and/or after rains.
So please point me to what I’m missing, cuz I just know some of the growers feel it’s bad but I don’t know why? It’s worked so well for me. Isn’t it natural and organic?
PM aside, my goodness do I envy your outdoor girls! Gorgeous Keith!
Thank you @kaw900r I appreciate the kind words.Thoxd are some beautiful plants
Well I see there is an agreement of the “why” and I trust all of you who agree not after flowering starts.Neem is great in veg and pretty much all I use then, but once I see pistils I stop using it. It turns the pistils brown and makes the flowers taste funny.
LOL! As good a reason as any!Neem oil smells horrible lol only reason I don't use it.

You silly man! Hey, I’ve read part of your Fat Bastard grow and will get back in there (lots of pages of info!). Q. How was it for flavor and high? I saw yours were fatties, but does it live up to the 30%-38% THC listed in their info? Sorry Keith for asking another question!
Man, your girls are HUGE! So absolutely stunning! Good to hear they are maturing so you can get a great harvest. I am waiting and praying they finish well for you! And of course, I know there will be plenty offrom Granny!Good morning 420 it a cool day here at 65 degrees. My flowers are slowly turning brown but are still growing will not be long now. My sativa plant still has white pistils as it will take a week or so longer to mature. I will feed today 1 large scoop of GH Maxibloom in 2 gallons water. I have been happy with GH maxi series nutrients. I found Dr. Bonners soap at my local ACE hardware store, so I am going to pick some up today. It will be a safe alternative to dawn soap. If Shed uses it, I know it will work. I will be at week 6 in three days so a couple weeks to go. I hate the waiting game I have no patience. Happy growing stay safe and hope your plants make it to full maturity.
Thank you @Granny420 Actually these plants are smaller than I usually grow. I wanted to grow smaller plants this year. I will attempt to grow an auto this winter in my 4x4 tent. I have never grown indoors in a tent before got a new tent light and inline blower exhaust fan.Well I see there is an agreement of the “why” and I trust all of you who agree not after flowering starts.
LOL! As good a reason as any!
Thank you Keith!
Thinking back, I think I had read not to use in flower, but my pea brain had forgotten. I did use neem of my girls half-way thru flowering once due to spider mites. The mites scared the crap outta me. For me, the neem didn’t do anything bad. Pistils remained white on them. Those girls (White Widow and Chronic among them) grew out fine and tasted glorious, but maybe I just got lucky! Won’t be doing that again because of all of you agreeing with why you don’t.
for responding! I’m so happy to learn from the best of growers.

Oh, Granny. You've gone and called me the same name my wife calls me, "Silly!" You realizing that I may have a couple of lose screws just moved you a few inches closer to my heart. When you start a journal I'll be able to come there and post freely, knowing that you'll understand. You silly man!
