Keith's Real Second Grow - Banana Jealousy

Good morning 420 today is feeding day. If you know about Maxi Bloom you know it comes with a two-sided scoop and I use one large scoop per 1- and 3/4-gallon water. It has been working for me OK. Also going to Smith Land and getting some stakes. I need to secure my plants a little better. It is going to be another sunny day and it looks like it will be this way for the rest of the week. I hope it is a sunny day for you too. 🍋
 
Morning Keith, the sun is just coming up over the horizon. it would be a good idea to try an secure the girls as much as possible. The weather outlook is a bit scary with all the action in the Atlantic, I got a feeling that we're due for at least one of those hurricanes to make it up the coast

Boy I hope not but yes, I need to secure them better, more stakes coming. But for now, the weather looks great. 🍋

It was a little breezy for pictures, but I tried. Buds on Pineapple Chunks are looking nice. The Banana Jealousy leaves look like hell, but the buds are fine with all white pistils and the Mack and Crack looks good, but the buds are coming a little slower. I think it has to do with it being 90/10 sativa dom. it is a pretty plant just smaller buds. :green_heart: 🍋
 
They're moving right along now! And don't forget to keep at it with the canola spray. :thumb:

Good day 420 I have another beautiful day going on here. I sprayed Banana Jealousy with canola 3% and she looks ugly but the PM has stopped. My buds are getting heavier, and you can see it in the plants. Pineapple Chunks is looking nice with all the buds. As you know I use Maxi Bloom but was wondering if I should add a bloom booster. Does anyone have any ideas on that? :thumb: 🍋
 
I'm sure you know my take but since you asked...if your plants aren't showing a P or K deficiency (which they're not), adding more P or K will only lead to lockouts and toxicity, not bigger buds. You can't force feed a plant.

What Shed said!

The booster GH offers, KoolBloom, did not help my plants at all. In fact, it beat them up, destroying most of their fan leaves. I likely overdosed them with it, but it's use is so risky that I'd let those beauties keep doing what they're doing.

BTW, just for fun why don't you give the Mack & Crack a good canola oil spray. Then Shed will have to slide his way out of your plant! :rofl:
