Thanks Keith and it’s true that I have made some posts. But I still haven’t made a decision about returning. I’m also a member of an International growers site and I haven’t decided if it might be a better option. CL.He is back posting.

Thank you Mel It is what I have, and it has never been used even know it is old technology. It was given to me, and I am thankful I have it.It pulls 150 watts at full power, and it looks like is has 50 emitters with an 8 watt capacity each which are being run at 3 watts each. That prolongs the lifespan of the light.
It also improves the efficiency of the emitters, so you're getting maximum par per watt.
It's supposed to be a suitable replacement for a 400 watt High Pressure Sodium or Ceramic Metal Halide light. I've never used one of those, but it's good enough for a small tent, especially for seedlings.
I use a 100 watt light for my 2x2 tent.
It should work well for you.Thank you Mel It is what I have, and it has never been used even know it is old technology. It was given to me, and I am thankful I have it.
It is your decision to make but I hope you stay. You have knowledge and humor and I love them both. Thanks Keith and it’s true that I have made some posts. It all adds up quickly but it’s like Shedster told me once, it’s an investment that will pay you back for years. CL.I just left the grow shop, and I am using General Hydroponics this year. I just bought there Maxi Gro for veg. I used Maxi Bloom on one plant last year and it worked well, also it is so easy to use. Maxi Gro for veg and Maxi Bloom for flower. It is that simple one or two teaspoons per gallon water. Being one or two teaspoons, I can still figure how much works best. Now I have to order a tent for my seedlings. My wife already asked if I am going to spend a thousand dollars this year. I told her a couple hundred is all. We will see.

Thanks, Sparkey It will be my first time using only Maxi grow and bloom the whole grow. This stuff is easy to use, and I am glad to know you use it as you have great plants.Hey Keith
I use Maxi too, love it. I use both in flower 1:1 ratio until week 6 and cut the Maxi grow and just use the bloom.
I just use one teaspoon per gallon or 5 grams max. A little bit less in Veg of course.
No problem brother anytime.I have to say Maxi has some big shoes to fill as I used Rx Blend last year on two of my plants and it was the best grow ever till the rot took over. I mix the Maxi and let it sit for a day, so I am sure it all dissolves before using it. Not sure it is necessary but that is what I did with the Bloom one plant. Good to know I only need 1 teaspoon. If it works for Sparkey I know it works well. I cannot wait to get started. I may start as soon as I get my tent, so I get a jump start on veg. I know it will not finish any faster by starting the earlier, but it will get the bigger before they go outside. I am excited to use a tent instead of just my purple light. I will first have to figure out my light and how to use it and hang it in the tent. The tent will look a lot neater too. On 2 - 12 I should have the light. I am getting closer to an indoor grow. Hopefully my wife will come around with an indoor grow of 1 plant next winter. Sparkey I hope you do not mind but I will be asking questions about using GH nutes.
On the plus side, you can run the tent with the flap open for seedlings so you can just put a regular fan pointing in.know I will need a fan at some point so I will get one at some point.
Well remembered!I know it will not finish any faster by starting the earlier,
I thought you wanted them smaller this year to make them easier to handle/train/deal with pests/moisture. I may be misremembering though...but it will get the bigger before they go outside.
MMmmm! venisonGoing up to Washington Ma for a venison dinner my cousin Brad got a deer this year. He is also a great grower so I will have a lot to talk about and see what his grow plans are. I gave him 2 plants last year and if he wants some this year I can germinate more for him. Maybe do 6 seedlings. This way I can give him 2 plants and my brother In-Law 1 plant. Hopefully I can get 6 seeds to take.
