21 inches tall?

Take 5+ for the solo
The lamp needs to hang 6?
That leaves 10 inches for plants.
I wouldn't think so. Seedlings starting at 10 inches away need a very dull light. If your light's variable and you think you want to try why not. That's a little close for me though.

The light is 10"x10.5"x2" and the light is variable power. If I can hang the light 4" it will give me 2"between it and the top of the tent. For 20 bucks I think it is worth the chance. It is a brand-new old model light. It is a Grow Want LED light.

A small tent would beat the hell out of a box. I think I will stay with the smallest tent to start if I can make it work for starter plants in a solo cups. I could have only 4 solos as I only need 3 plants outdoors. I will give 1 away.

Three feet is a much better option for clones and seedlings! And you could flower in it if you really get the training right. :thumb:
This is true and the light is the one I got from you. So, I believe it is big enough for a 24"x 24"x 36"

It pulls 150 watts at full power, and it looks like is has 50 emitters with an 8 watt capacity each which are being run at 3 watts each. That prolongs the lifespan of the light.
It also improves the efficiency of the emitters, so you're getting maximum par per watt.
It's supposed to be a suitable replacement for a 400 watt High Pressure Sodium or Ceramic Metal Halide light. I've never used one of those, but it's good enough for a small tent, especially for seedlings.
I use a 100 watt light for my 2x2 tent.
