I’ve been having trouble keeping my temps steady at night for lights on (too cold) so I tried to turn the light to 50%, lower the plants to the floor, in the corner, (2.5 feet lower in the weakest corner) and decrease lights on by an hour. Theoretically this should’ve been fine since the DLI was the same. This wasn’t fine. As can be seen, the serrations lifted slightly giving a sharp look to some of the leaves. They’ve cupped beyond praying and there is a faint yellowing around the edges of the leaves, which is slightly different looking than a mg deficiency. The coloring of the new growth is unnaturally bright and so I expect to see some minor light burn on it as well.
I was really trying to push them another week but I’m not sure they’ll make it. They’re looking hungrier every day.
I’m gonna prep the one and two gallon fabric pots for transplant asap. This will give the rest of the soil some more time to cook in the big bin. There really shouldn’t be any issue with the soil being not fully cooked since I did not use the full amount of minerals with the fresh soil and I have had the bins in a very warm room and have turned it often.
For prepping my containers,
@Gee64 what do you think about me sprinkling a little SRP beneath a thin layer of perlite where I will be setting my root ball down on? My thinking is, the myco will find the source relatively early and give it time to mine and store it for bloom.
