Junior Grower Grow 00 Auto White Widow

There's 3 plant, 2 of it seems to ripen at the same time, another 1 is late for a week. After i harvest, i gonna dry the bud in dark place with carbon filter, which is also inside the tent. Can i isolate the light from the harvested bud?

I hang all of my harvests right from my bloom light fixtures so my harvests continue to ripen even after harvest. There are pros and cons to drying with and without lights and the differences between are so negligible that it's not worth being overly concerned about using light or no light. All that is important is that you quickly whisk away all perspiration for the first 3 days of drying. Carbon filtration is desired to mask the smell, but not needed for the process to be successful. All that is needed is that you dry it fast initially to prevent mold from forming in the buds. Once the outsides of the buds get very crusty, squeeze the buds to understand how much more moisture is in the core of the buds. This is how you determine if more wetness still needs to be removed. Once you get the majority of the wetness out of the buds, this is when you slow down the drying process by putting all the mostly dried buds still on branches into a tote for a few hours with a hygrometer.

100%->70% RH in the buds, I fast dry in front of an oscillating fan
69% -> 64% I slow dry by putting in totes to redistribute the bud's moisture, and hang in open air with no fan or wind
62% RH and I am trying to hold the humidity right there, so I snip the buds from the branches and put all the buds in a tote until I'm certain the RH will not rise, then I put the buds into ziplock bags.

Got it, what you said relief me.

What’s the most nodes a plant can do?

If you're growing auto flowering plants, it blooms when it wants to. If you're growing photo period plants, you want at least 5 sets before starting the bloom light cycle, but the plant will yield a lot more the longer you can commit to vegetative growing. In my grow, I aim to veg each of my plants for about 10 weeks and if I can keep all other factors close to ideal, I will harvest about a pound from that plant.

If for day 21, i think it's about 4-5 nodes. I just count on my day 45 plant, it got 10 nodes. I never pay attention to the nodes... Does it mean something?

Edit: this is my second grow, i am sorry i can't answer your question.

Node count is only useful when considering the minimum. There is no max.

A pound!!! That is a insane num to me!!! Consider my first grow only harvest 14g total from 2 plants.

I grow in hydro so my plants are fed multiple times every single day. The quality is less than soil grown plants, but the yields are substantial. There are other factors and if I botch any one of them I get less weight from a plant, so there is a trade off and hydro is not forgiving whereas soil is.

Edit - Here's one from the archives. That's one plant. The tote itself weighs 511 grams. That was a great harvest, though I've been making many mistakes since and my yields went way down.

Nice

Hey my friend, your grow is looking really good! :high-five: :passitleft::meatballs:

Because you're in soil, the plants will take a bit longer to fully mature. I predict it will take about 10 weeks total, maybe more.

I might miss some of your point about the right time to harvest. Do i have to wait until all pistil become ember only to harvest them?

Usually, but not always. If this is a strain that you grew a few times, your experience will tell you when is the best time to harvest. I just mentioned the 10 week thing to help you dispel any feelings of apprehension.

Day 49, buds are getting thick, they drink fast too. Every week there's bottom leaves become very weak and yellow, eventually it'll fall off themself. Not much though, max 2 leaves per weak. I assume this is normal?

Bottom leaves dropping indicate that there's a minor mobile nutrient deficiency. Nutrients are taken from those leaves and moved to the top of the plant as the top is a higher priority than those leaves. This is not a problem to be too concerned with. Sure the soil composition could likely be a little better for this crop, but already it's close enough to the sweet spot that you can overlook such a minor deficiency.

Skybound hit the nail on the head! :high-five: I fully agree - if they are only dropping 2 leaves a week it shouldn't be anything major to worry about and sticking with what you're currently feeding will be fine.
Looking great in there GWJ, i think it's safe to say you'll be hitting your last harvest out the ballpark! :slide:
