Kro's Soil Auto White Widow - First Time - 2018

So far so good with the ladybugs.
Forgot to turn a fan off, so the ladybug numbers got literally cut in half.

Did a full inspection this morning and couldnt find any spider mites or any signs of eggs (they were visible yesterday). I'll give them a few more days to do their work while I wait for a jeweler's loupe to show up from amazon for a much closer inspection.

Picture update.
3.5wks into flower
Fed each of the 4 with 1gal ph water with camg+ only (maybe 2% runoff)

Typically they are going through about 1/4 - 1/2 gal per day each.

Edit: ladybugs appear to be doing their job, however not 100%. And the fans are designating the ladybug population quickly. Picked up some local organic stuff to help out, supposed to be ok during flower without affecting small or taste.

Ordered a second 600w led, should be here by Friday.

Gonna put it side by side with the other one in the 3x3 tent for now. When the 4x4 tent is ready to flower, i'll move the leds (1200w - 600w actual) to the 4x4 and convert the 3x3 into a 250w cfl veg tent.

..i'm debating new pots (new grow), 4 plants in a 4x4 with a scrog that will be 6.3' x 4' with 5 to 6 weeks veg. Will 3gal be ok, or should I really go 5gal or 7gal? Strains are 2 x northern lights, amnesia haze (gonna do a lot of lst on this one to keep it short), and critical mass.

Second 600w led has joined the ranks and has been added to the small tent for the last 4 weeks of flower. Haha. 2 x 600w (600w total from wall) leds in a 3x3 tent @ 18".
They will be moved over to the 4x4 after this round and the 250w cfls will move into the 3x3.

Will be interesting to see what that much light does for these white widows.

I used 3/4 dose Jake's all in one ... and ... all pistils are now bruised. Am I screwed?

Sprayed right before lights off. Was ph6.2

..i'm only 3-4 wks into flower

And what they looked like before spray last night.

This heat wave is not fun, having a hard time keeping tent temps under 85.

Gonna convert my 4" fan to an intake fan, and upgrade the exhaust to a 6". Filled the freezer with 1gal jugs of water (got 10 frozen so far) and will be swapping them out to put in front a fan cooling the tent room. It's too difficult to get an a/c in there

More ramblings.

Fought long and hard with heat today. The added 600w led was just too much. Ambient heat was already in the high 70s / low 80s and with both leds shining full brightness down on a whopping 9 square foot floor haha (yes I know that's my problem). If both leds are only set to bloom or only veg, temps are under 80, but full on, 90+.

I also have a 4x4 i'm using as veg, and I could theoretically switch the occupants .. but, the 3x3 is just plants tossed in there, where as i'm gonna scrog the ones currently in the 4x4. By the time these first are done, the other 4 will be too big and entangled in the scrog to move.

So, the 3x3 gets 2x600w leds and the 4x4 gets 2x125cfls ... backwards but, it is what it is.

I drilled a new 6" exhaust hole in my wall, just below the current 4". I plugged the 4", and i'll tell ya why lower down.

I plugged in my new vortex s-line 6", with a separate filter from the 4" (and wow, the weight difference from a filter for a 4" to a 6" is insane)

I hooked up the 3x3 to the 6" vortex..hehe haha, that tents heat is sucked out rapidly. I had to remove the intake vent and just open up the lower side intake panel built into the tent.

The 4x4, got the 4" fan .. plenty enough for the cfls. The tent is the same temp as ambient with added humidity inside the tent with a humidifier.

The room is pretty well sealed up with only 1 6" intake (venturi) into a 6" pre filter. The air is about 2°f lower with a 4" wall diffuser instead of a 6".

Now, the little tent with the oversized fan, had the humidity drop to 30% .. this is why I plugged the 4" exhaust hole. I am venting the humid air from the 4x4 veg tent directly into the sealed room (up high though)

So, all in all, I can run all lights full tilt and i'm holding steady temps. 3x3 tent with 3x600w is running 80.6°f (high, yes, but...), 4x4 tent 80.1°f, sealed room 79.8°f, outside the sealed room 81.3°f

I think I'd done well for no a/c.
Did it all with the help of a lot of lemon super diesel.

The plants were just starting to show signs of the heat stress since the temps the last couple days were constantly in the high 80s.

Thing1s main cola tops are going to be complete and utter duds. However, there may be some popcorn to pull from her. Should I remove top parts that are doing nothing and let her work on the lower parts with more light down there?

Thing2 and 3 are chugging along very well. They both got only lst. Both are stinky and getting pretty dense buds going on. Still need fattening. Estimated 4 weeks left.

Thing4, the little trooper. She survived a ffim.. ya, note the double f. However, she recovered and has 2 main mini colas growing side by side with no possible way to get them any further apart than 1" .. they gonna merge when they fatten up.

Pistils are pretty brown from the spray, but i'm starting to see some new ones coming in. All is not lost.

The ladybugs survived the spray, and about 30 or so of the smarter ones that have learned to navigate the high winds, sucking vortexes of doom and the turblant spinning blades of death, are thriving and taking care of those pesky spider mites for me. No signs of webbing.

Oh .. and about 4weeks into flower on thing2/3, 2 weeks on thing4, and 1 or ?? On thing 1.

Need some HELP figuring out where I am at here. From my calendars I'm only 4 weeks into flower, however, comparisons ..etc put me at 5.5weeks flower.

Take a look at these trichomes. I dont want to over cook these girls. Or under cook for that matter.

Once noticed the odd spattering of amber trichomes in there. My original pics before being resized shows them a bit more sharply. I didnt think I would see amber trichs this early.

Edit: yes, I am aware I have at minimum a few weeks left. I just dont want to miss the 'flush' window.

Looking good Kronox see you are in the battle with the temps and good job on the ladybugs. Was popping too high in my tents and finally threw an a/c in. 95. Seems like you got a handle on the ventilation nice.
12/12 to try to trigger flowering?
If they are Autos leave them on 18/6 or you'll reduce yield.I did that one lol
i'm debating new pots (new grow), 4 plants in a 4x4 with a scrog that will be 6.3' x 4' with 5 to 6 weeks veg. Will 3gal be ok, or should I really go 5gal or 7gal
If you are in coco. I been liking the 7 Gall bags. Have some autos in 10 s as well. An experiment. One thing with bigger bags it stays pretty saturated so you can just give them a good splash until they get bigger and start sucking them dry.

Decided that theres at least 2+ weeks left. So still feeding 1/2gal per day at ph6.0 ppm700-1000

Planning on flush in about 1 to 1.5 wks.

Buds are putting on weight fast, all milky trichomes (only amber ones are on top most sugar leaves)

Thing1, thought to be a dud, has increased pistils and is starting to frost up .. she actually may produce something (may be another month before shes done minimum)

On to the pics.

Anyone know what's up with the pink sugar leaves?

Went to feed the girls 1/2gal each today, but they were dry, so they got 3/4gal each.
5ml/gal camg+ 10ml/gal floranova bloom, 0.6ml/gal floralicious plus then 7.2ml/gal ph up
Ppm 783 ph5.8
Temps 79.4 .. night 72.1
RH 39% .. night 46%

They are fattening up fast. Everyday I can see new bulges pushing the buds into more dense yummy goodness. They are very dense buds.

As I can see, only amber trichomes have been found on some upper sugar leaves, but after inspecting mid-bud (which is where i'll be looking for ripeness), they are about 98% cloudy with 0 amber.

Yesterday was CKSs 'estimated' finish date on these girls, but I'm thinking 1-2 more week(s) with nutes, then 1 week flush. But I'm just pulling ideas/guesses outta my ass. Please correct me if I may be wrong. Starting week 7 flower as of yesterday.
