Opening a seed order from @NorthAtlanticSeedCo. is like Christmas Day every time. The boxes on top, a mere six seeds, was what I paid for. All the rest are freebies. Good freebies too, Blimburn and Twenty20. No nameless seed packs here. Yet another cool sticker, and by the way - do you appreciate a quick turnaround on a seed order? I sure do. These seeds I ordered Sunday. The order was processed Monday. And today on Thursday I grab them from the mailbox. Five days from when I hit the pay button. That’s what I’m talking about. Lmao! I never canceled my registry, just let my card expire. So I still get the mail. But what’s significant I thought was that now if you’re a relative you have to provide fingerprints and submit to a Level 2 background check? Are they even a little bit serious???

I just said relatives, and yeah, okay, but what about the 1000s of vets who are wheelchair bound and have no family left so they depend on a caregiver type to help them run errands and shop and such? Those caregivers are exactly Non-Close caregivers. Now they have to submit to a background check and give their damn fingerprints like common criminals? Get the F outta here. This is why I grow and why the states and dispensaries are blood sucking moronic idiots that don’t give the slightest shit about the people they serve.
 
Prep Work and the PLAN

I needed eight stands, all of which either rotate or they’re right in front when I open a door so don’t have to. They all needed to be within a couple inches of one another, but also ideally not all the same so as to allow for tweaks. And they needed to be individual, and all equipped with stands in drip trays. Easy, right? I’m sure everyone has enough of the right size stuff just lying around their places to make what I needed, don’t they? LMAO. Nope! More like okay, where else do we have empty buckets or solid stands of some sort? I wonder if that table will fit in the tent? Where’s my tape measure? :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

What I’m going to do is attempt to show you guys 8 plants, all trained entirely individually (no screens or top support of any kind) from underneath and so that the end result is a perfect canopy that could pass for one plant.

The odds of pulling this off perfectly are lowish, but it’s far from impossible or beyond my skills. I have every intention of being completely successful, but if not it’ll be real close. Should be very visually appealing too.

I’m basically going to top each plant above the 4th node, run the two new shoots from that out wide, and create the canopies from nodes 1-4. This should allow me to even out 8 canopies that have some shorter indica heavy hybrids and some longer sativa hybrids in the same grow. I’ll top side branches as well. Ideally that will all happen pre-stretch on each auto - the more veg time they give you the better obviously. In our 3-2-3 alignment, that leaves extra space for the two Watermelon Wedding Cakes, since they’ll end up the largest two plants. In auto veg time I should have time to make 8 decent canopies before they start to flower, and I’ll also train through the stretch.

So there’s the plan and here’s todays prep work results. As usual, I nailed it. Lol! Ha, just kidding. I usually F it all up.

Yes it will give you a place to anchor your hula hoop. But first you've gotta get rid of those extra plants clogging up the rest of the area. Time to unpack another tent. You can always pack it back up later when you're done with the grow. :cheesygrinsmiley:

The hula hoop is for a very specific one plant grow in the new 5x5 using the new NextLight Mega Pro. Super Silver Haze. It’ll take a while. Can’t start that til I move and set up shop big time.

Edit: and come on Azi, you don’t think I’d cheat my prize hula hoop out of a real support system do you? This will become a permanent one plant setup.
