I don't envy your task of curating the coffee table book. Unless your planning on a thousand pages or something.

Or, I know, how about doing a book version of the photo holders with a USB link for a never ending play list?

Too bad you had to take this to politics. You do realize you just insulted thousands of veterans who use this site? I have worked across several industries with hundreds of immigrants from dozens of countries. There are at least 50 countries that would imprison or execute their citizens for saying what you just did.

A little just-in-case action in the 420h/Blurple closet.

The cross pole is two tent poles fitted together and taped, so it’s plenty solid, but it still sags on the connection point (these are used tent poles from a defunct tent - I always keep the poles, they have 1000 uses). This shores it up and keeps the light level, and also increases my peace of mind. Solidly duct taped top and bottom (bottom is covered by flag). Going nowhere.

@Hafta - it was a momentary lapse of reason, I rarely go off like that. But here’s a flip side - the country those veterans fought for? That country I DO love. That country DOES make me proud. So I meant no offense to any veterans, and value them and their service more than any other group. They are to be respected and revered and supported in any and all cases. Just to clear up that confusion. But look around. Do you see the country they fought and died for? I don’t. But then again, I live in Florida. So I understand how you feel and hope you understand that was not and would never be my intent. But hey man, I respect you enough - if that one thing makes you say 10-4 (which I take to say see you later), then that’s your call. All I can do is thank you sincerely for the help and hope you don’t make that call.

I really think it is the politicians and the media that are striving to divide the country by making everything so polarizing, pitting one group against another and making it seem like it's how everybody feels. You can see it in almost every issue. Black vs white. Straight vs gay. One political party against the other. Really sad and we let them get away with it by not calling it out.

I remember when the news was the actual news and not what it is now, basically opinion TV. I can't even watch it anymore. Everything is so over-sensationalized.

Your governor is either portrayed as evil incarnate or the most incredible man on the planet. Neither is likely the case.

The politicians learned they could weaponize the media and big tech, and we all consume it which shapes public opinion. Not healthy.
