Hehe - I could say stuff like
“Well our coco peat is a little finer, feels like it holds a little more moisture lower down and ai eorry about salt build ups. Also I don’t mind the reset between nute mix changes, save a little money on nutes”
Which sounds reasonable. It doesn’t matter to us with the irrigation system. The cost with the EC we run isn’t insubstantial. 1 flush a week saves $80 a grow.
But a flushcan also be called -
“A lazy Sunday growers nute mix when faced with mixing 200L of fert”
Its not always a Sunday but yeah seems to hit that day most often!

Bit of tape as well? Hell I have a caulking gun half full of clear silicone / I’d probably use that - or needles on the ends the dowling right in her stems show them you mean business
But I worked until 3am and started again at 7am with some mildly irritated users so I’m not feeling the full karmic love of the world yet today!

Pink Rozay
Day 24
This plant…whoa. A Blimburn masterpiece. This is photo level growth at 24 days. And just wait till we get to see her super exotic buds!!
This plant is so untrained it’s gonna be awesome. All I’ve done is slightly pull branches to clear the fans, but did not lower any branches more than an inch or so max in pulling them out. All their stems are already spectacular and loooong. Right now if she flipped to flower I’d have 12 mains plus the giant cola up the center. I have not topped anything, so these colas are all direct stem to cola buds. Every node she grows upwards before flower gives me two more. I find that any branch untopped will always make the biggest colas. And long stems = bug buds. Today being day 24, man would I be over the moon if she gives me one more week of veg.
And in light of how sweet both the Pink Rozay and the Apple Fritter are, we have a special light setup for the blurple closet when they’re ready to flip. These two are way too sweet to flower under a crappy blurple.
So we are at one of those points in the grow where I go actively searching for cool and unusual photos to try and keep you guys entertained. Lol. I realized a scale photo of the Pink Rozay would be good, so I set up the first photo along these lines. The second photo shows the marketing shot from Blimburn of the Pink Rozay in flower. This photo is honesty primarily why I bought these seeds.

It does it’s just a lot more effort than a screen. But you’re going for the same result. I used to call it a Scrog without the Screen. I have to do it this way cuz I have to be able to rotate all my plants. Or use a one plant screen like with my Strawberry Haze. Let’s Get Serious About The Blurple Closet
I made a change or two. @Hafta, how do you like my jury-rigged side lighting in veg using the Maxsisun blurple to compliment the NextLight 420h? You’ve obviously got me 100% sold.
So here we go. These are two spoiled-ass autos, I’ll tell you that. But wow they must be so happy right now.
The 420h is at 100%. At this height, without the side light, she hits the plants at 700 ppfd. The side light is non-adjustable, so I use distance. I have it set so that with the side light only the side it’s shining on is getting 650 ppfd. So basically we’re at 650-700 in 360 degrees (including plant rotating).
A fool could see this situation destroys the predecessor.
It’s my last Florida grow. I’m going all out. I’m bleeding all over the floor for this grow. You won’t see it, but my feet take a pounding. I mean I am LITERALLY bleeding for this grow.
