Smoke Report
Strawberry Banana Autoflower
It's about time to post a smoke report or two now that the initially harvested strains of this grow are beginning to be cured to the point of almost as good as it's gonna get. I decided to begin the day with my Strawberry Banana and coffee this morning, so here's my smoke report on this amazing strain.
First, the skinny, including some grow information on this particular plant:
Strain: Strawberry Banana Autoflower
Genetics: 420FastBuds

I/S: 55% indica/45% sativa (note: this is 420FB's version, others list higher indica values up to 70%)
THC: Up to 27% (Strongest auto in the world of 2021 on some lists, also among the highest yielders on others)
Flowering Time: 9-10 weeks from seed (mine harvested around Day 65)
Grown In: 5 gallon pot of Sohum living soil
Light: @NextLight 420h on 20/4 beginning to end

Here's what AllBud has to say about the strain:
Strawberry Banana is an indica dominant hybrid strain created by breeders at the infamous Serious Seeds farms as potent cross between the popular Strawberry Bubblegum X Crocket's Banana Kush strains. This dank bud boasts a myriad of surprisingly well-balanced indica and sativa effects. Users describe the Strawberry Banana high as one that starts with a mild head buzz and then slowly builds into an intense euphoric and uplifted cerebral head high, leaving you relaxed and focused. This is accompanied by full-body relief and a warming body buzz that leaves you slightly sedated and couch-locked with a moderate case of the munchies. Due to these potent effects, Strawberry Banana is an ideal strain for treating patients suffering from conditions such as chronic pain, stress, depression, and appetite loss. Strawberry Banana has a memorable aroma of sweet tropical strawberry and a taste of tropical strawberry with a sweet banana exhale. Sweet Banana buds have oversized fluffy popcorn-shaped bright neon green nugs that are spattered with long and twisty dark orange hairs. These nugs are caked in a thick layer of huge crystal white trichomes and sweet sticky resin.
And the rest is all subjective/opinion.
I haven't grown a million autos, but I have grown my share of different strains, probably getting close to 15-20 now, and this Strawberry Banana, quite simply, is the best weed I have ever gotten from an autoflower. It's the strongest auto I've grown by a good margin, out-highing the Cinderella Jack, my previous THC high. It actually gets me higher than several of my photo strains. It's the tastiest auto I've grown as well, along with the Gelato. Super fruity, extremely sweet, just a touch of gas, and lots of dank is the taste, and the smell is pure fruity sugar. I get a touch of strawberry, can't honestly say I get anything specifically banana in the taste or smell. Mango or cantaloupe maybe. To really release the odor I use the grinder, and it fills the room with sweetness pretty quickly. The buds are dense. Covered in trichomes. It cures up like a dream and really began to hum around the six week cured point. Now it's on fire. The appearance of the buds is gorgeous as well (see pictures, no point for me to describe), and I would say it has extreme bag appeal. Growing it was easy - I would let it get taller before starting the training next time, but it took to LST very well and each generated branch created a serious bud. They were so dense while growing I had dedicated fans for all of them. The bud structure of my plants in all four cases was almost purely indica, there were no sativa phenos in the ones I grew. Very consistent. I believe I pulled around 11 or 12 ounces of finished buds from the four I grew, but that was training them low and using smaller pots, as well as losing a bit to bud rot. This plant, imho, has the power to produce 6-8 ounce autos, and I will be growing this one again with different pot/medium soon enough. The description of the high in the AllBud verbiage above is pretty right on, I can't improve on that. I will say it works very well for my back pain, more so than several of my other strains.
I have nothing but glowing positives about this strain and if you like fruity, indica-esque, very strong weed that comes off with a more balanced a high than an indica buzz by itself, I would suggest this may be an excellent autoflower to try.
Here's some pictures that tell the story even better on many levels.
