Jon's First Outdoor Grow: Sugar Breath Photoperiod & Strawberry Banana Autoflower

Ain't nature grand Jon! Sure looks like bugs. I haven't seen anything like it. Good eye! You trim like a surgeon! Sweet nug!
Thanks SO, I nailed the toaster oven and that bud got me very high, albeit early and harsh. Lol. And yeah they sure do but I scoped them and they're bud pieces. Tiny, molding ones from the disintegrating budlets above them. Weird. Everything is fine in there now. A bit of cleanup and rearranging was all it took. And I turned the AC to low. No need for high setting anymore. Problem solved. I only have a short time to go, thank god. Lol!!!

You going to a legal state?

You going to a legal state?
PA. Not legal at the moment but very close. By the time I get there perhaps. But I also will have privacy and woods around me and no houses ten feet away.

Gotta get @Emilya to help me dial that puppy in a little better, she's a master. Lol.
lol I am not even careful with it these days... I used to wrap it in foil and try to keep it fresh or whatever it was that I was doing... now I just stick it in the oven on the top shelf and let it cook at 250 for 10 or 15 minutes... when it gets crispy I pull it and smoke the nasty stuff. Luckily this doesn't have to happen more than about once a year.

Glad you figured out the black dots... I didn't have a clue what it could be and figured it to be one of those tropical florida things.

Dust is trying to convince me it's what he pictured a few posts back, but I keep fighting him cuz I'm pretty sure I'm right, but it is possible, I acquiesce, that what I have is the infantile version of what he thinks it is. Thing is I know this has nothing to do with rooting. Anyway, whatever, it's gone, the rest of the plant is just fine and loving life.

Lol on the toaster oven. I didn't know what else to do with that gram of early bud from the top of that branch. It definitely got me very high though. That was a plus.

Got plant right here above my AC has same exact things on it. Lmao. But doesn't mean it's same thing . I don't fight over stuff bro. Ask I give opinion and end of story. Why fight . Takes little more than that hurt my feelings. Lmao.
It's better than the first thought I had. Which was a plant desiese . Looks semilar also. Lmao. But it be on leaves and stems. It cause bumps like that too.

Rocking and rolling in the 3x3. The girl is stacking nicely. I am beginning to be able to see the difference it makes to remove as much extraneous, flarfy garbage as you can. Props to @InTheShed on the education. Her environment is consistent, her nighttime temps are only around 5-8 degrees cooler than the day, and we're all good.

Especially since I bit the bullet this morning and upgraded the infrastructure. I needed more space to get to the door of the 3x3, and I needed to be able to open the door to the house on about a 45 degree angle to get the exchange that works best. Tired of working around it and doing it half-assed, and as usual when I start to annoy myself with that thought, @Emilya's "Garden like a boss" keeps ringing in my mind, lol. So I killed a table, eliminated stuff that didn't need to be in here, consolidated some stuff, and now have unlimited access to all tents from all working sides. Also have much better space around the big tent to get in from the outside by moving a whole bag of Sohum out of the way.

Of course did the obligatory cleaning of the entire garage while I was moving stuff around. You could eat off the floor in here. Well, Molly could. You wouldn't want to. Lol.

So here's a few pictures from today.

These first two are a couple pictures of buds stacking away....

This next one is my favorite bud so far, lol....

And this last one is the improved space and the new look of the grow space in the back of the garage...

Anyway, busy morning. Speaking of our namesake for this plant, anyone heard hide or hair of cjsbabygirl313 lately? Enquiring minds want to know!

Have a good grow week everyone.

Just a figure of speech @7Dust2. Of course we're not fighting, man! Just a healthy disagreement which you are using to further educate me. Which I appreciate. That's as far from fighting as it gets! Thanks.

Lol. Not all liberals get testy, btw. Ha.

Lmao. Never meet one bro. Lmao. I'm in south bro. We call them other names. Lmao.
:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Bro, I live in the single county that voted for Trump at a higher percentage than 99.9% of the other counties in the entire country, and both my parents and all my siblings are rampant conservatives (if I'm using a kind word to describe it). My stepfather grew up with five siblings in a one room shack with an outhouse deep in the woods of North Carolina. I am somewhat familiar with the names you allude to.

Jon and I learned early on not to talk politics. I would dare say that we probably don't agree on much. I don't let this bother me and I know Jon doesn't either. The plants don't care if we like Trump or think he is an idiot... they just grow the same in either case.
Yep. I couldn't care less if you have three heads and voted for Charles Manson. If you're a person of light, you're a person of light. Simple as that to me.

Lmao. Our neighbors lived 6 miles down road . Gravel road on top of that where I grew up. If you were hunting you were doing the tractor. Which was more than hunting and fishing. Sht broke all the time.

The funniest part about this post is this:

I never grew weed before. Had a lot of friends who did growing up and such, but never myself. But I was hitting the crap out of the dispensary, spending way too much money, and trying all these strains for the first time. I really thought if I tried I could do better than dispensary weed, given I knew, even before joining the forum, that I had a Yoda or two at my disposal. Then one day I bought an eighth of Pineapple Upside Down Cake. As I finished the eighth, I found six seeds in the bottom of my grinder. I was pissed at first, like, $58 for seeds? But I saved them in a cup. They were on my table and I looked at them all the time. Kept thinking about them. And started looking online at how to grow weed type posts and such.

Then along came the $1200 Trump tax refund. Pennies from Heaven for me and I suspect many of us.

I used that money to buy my entire first grow setup, all the soil, pots, AC unit, etc....everything I thought I'd need. Managed to get most of the stuff that I now know is essential. Grew the weed. My first grow, and I made every mistake in the book and then some more on top of that. Lol. But I ended up with 10 1/2 ounces of very good, very dense, very crystally, very strong Pineapple Upside Down Cake (this was the Surfr version, not the Humboldt version I just grew).

Since one of the things I have always associated with Republicans, right or wrong, is standing in the way of marijuana legislation, (not to invite a political discussion, just saying), I jokingly and sarcastically came up with the perfect name for my first weed I ever grew.

Trump Weed.

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Below is a picture, the only remaining one, of my first grow. It's six plants in 8 gallon plastic pots in a cheapie 5x5 using 2 Maxsisun 1200 watt blurples, a six inch exhaust fan and filter, a couple crappy fans and an AC unit to keep it cool. This picture is from maybe three weeks before harvest. It's in black and white because the blurple version is so purple you can barely see the plants, lol. These plants got about 6 1/2 feet tall, had to have their colas pulled down all over the place, and I had to remove one plant that I somehow caught in time going hermie and removed without affecting the other plants. Looks half decent in the picture. 10 1/2 ounces of it was. Lol. From 6 plants in 8s. Ah, nothing like your first grow.

I give you the Trump Weed.

We grew it anywhere we could even found little plant in the dirt in back of the truck bed. Once.
