Jon's First Outdoor Grow: Sugar Breath Photoperiod & Strawberry Banana Autoflower

Strawberry Banana Fast Flowering Photo
Grow Day 45
Flower Day 9

She's stretched some, not as much as I thought she would. She's not done, but she is about to start making some cotton balls. I thought she'd catch up in height to the Pineapple Upside Down Cake, but then I remembered that I topped this plant, while the Raspberry Parfait and PUC grew untouched. So yeah, she won't get as tall as them. .

And at this point I'm gonna go ahead and declare this plant fully recovered from her early leaf curling and burning thing. That's long in the past and she's rip roaring now. Between this plant and the four autos of the same strain I'm about to harvest, I'm going to have so much of this strain it's silly. Which makes the fact that it's one of my all time faves a nice thing. Almost as if I planned it that way. Very curious to compare the auto and the photo versions. I've never had the same strain of photo and auto at the same time to compare like that. I'll do a special comparison strain report on it at the end which will be a little different than my usual strain reports and might be fun.

Anyway, here's my baby. I guess we're going to find out whether this Fast Flowering F1 cross thing actually works as advertised. They're talking 45 days to finish flowering and harvest. Today is day 9. I'm dubious, I must say. But we'll see. If so, we're talking seed to harvest in exactly (in this case) 90 days. For a photo that is definitely going to outyield most autos, even done small like this. In the same time frame as an auto. I LOVE THAT. And I am rooting for it to work as claimed.

Beautiful Jon!!!
Thanks! I think she's a very attractive strain. I dig her a ton. Just a pretty, very solid in appearance type plant. Easy to tell when she's healthy and when she's not.

Nope, not your old eyes, a couple are low. A few of the sevens are actually 6.25's and the one 5 is actually a 4.25. Has to do with my soil on hand at the time. I could top all them off now, but it would cost me one plant. Of the soil I have left, I have plenty for the Chocolope and Apple Blossom seedlings, then enough for two others I'm waiting on to arrive, a Mimosa EVO photo and a Watermelon Weddingcake Double XL Auto.

Is it that big of a deal at this point and if I leave it be is there some way it will negatively affect the grow? Cuz if not, I'm going to leave it be in lieu of two more plants instead of one.

Gelato Autoflower, aka, Michael
Day 76

I haven't shown you guys the Gelato much, not for any reason, just worked out like that. But she's awesome. Very productive plant. Fattening up sweetly. Very soon to be ready. VERY dense buds, denser than the Strawberry Banana considerably. She STINKS. Very dank, slightly fruity odor.

Here she is today:

Lol. You pick the best emojis. I wish I could take some credit for these girls, they're rocking the world. But I can't. All I have done is water these plants right out of the tap. That's it. What you see is genetics, GeoFlora Nutrients, and the sun. They are frosty girls though, aren't they? The Raspberry Parfait won't be the most productive yielder of all time, but she'll be amazing quality. The PUC is going to yield like mad. Her cola is huge!

Harvest Update!!!
Strawberry Banana #2
Day 76

Two down, three to go in the @NextLight auto rig. Harvested SB #2. That leaves 2 more SBs and the Gelato. The 420h has done a wonderful job. These buds are dense and frosty top to bottom. Not a whole lot of difference between the tip of the bud and the base. Partially a tribute to the penetrating power of this light. I suspect the frost level is also related to the spectrum of this light, although certainly genetics play a large part. I also find that autos grown in Sohum get especially frosty compared to regular soil.

I had partially harvested a cola and a half from this plant the other day. This was the remaining four main colas, all of which are gigantic and dense.

Here's what she looked like at harvest and a closeup of a bud. FROST CITY. She's hanging in the drying closet!
