Hey @Bill284 - yes the 420h gives a bit of a washed out appearance. The color is perfect. I’ll take a picture tomorrow of a clipped leaf in normal light. No I was complaining about my big hand made wooden one for the 5x5 with 1” squares. It’s the best there is but it’s too big for me to use. Can’t reach everything in a 5x5. LolThey look great, ready to go.
How is the color?

I know you can’t wait to pop them @Vegan4life! So for what it’s worth, you have a coco reference in the Forbidden Runtz in my grow, and a soil reference in @Emilya auto journal. Not sure what medium you grow in but I love when others are growing what I am cuz I find it way helpful to see someone else make the mistakes first! Lol
I’ve been wondering about why it seems only the back right quarter of the scrog is behind the rest an inch or two. When you see it live it’s pretty obvious. Duh. I realized this morning that that part of the scrog is the part the emanates from the main at the 4th node topping. That’s the branch I almost broke. Fixed it, but it was a serious break, you’ll see at harvest. So of course anything coming off that branch is going to be a few days behind. Now that I’ve figured it out I’m thinking wow, surprised it’s not worse. Yay!Melinda

Thank you JonThis is the one cola which is the dominant one of the whole scrog, towering over the others. I’m letting it go. I got lucky that it’s in the corner.
So a couple things about this cola…
- this is @Rexer ’s branch, due to our first node discussion. I kept one first node branch and chopped the other. This is the one I kept. First node is crap? Not always. Depends entirely on the plant. And for an auto scrog I think it’s prudent to keep them if they’re going to hit the screen. The one empty little corner of the screen would have been filled with the first node branch I took. The remaining, dominant one accounts for a significant portion of that corner of the scrog. That’s the thing about breaks in an auto scrog I’m finding - you better fix them quick cuz each branch is responsible for a large number of buds.
