Banana Sherbet

Any of you guys going from “no chance” to “small chance” yet? I’m not sure I’m yet to “small chance.”

I'd say Better than a small chance ;)

This is my Gorilla Glue #4 auto with NO training on day 30, she came in at 11 grams shy of a pound !

Are you serious? Of trimmed and jarred buds? Whoa!!!!

Forbidden Runtz XXL Autoflower

Forbidden Runtz XXL auto is in the coco with a lovely tap root and can’t wait to pop out. When she does, she will pop out into 375-400 ppfd.

Wet the medium before planting with the seedling section of the @Prescription Blend feed chart. This is her diet until she has two sets of leaves. Her hole was coated with Great White myco before she went in.

Environment: 78-85 degrees and 50-75% Rh (depends on the day) for a few weeks.

My electric bill just increased.

Pics including one to show you how far away she is from the light (and still at 400 ppfd - nice light, lol).

That light is huge man :0 this XXL strain how big do they get? Liking the vibe
I’m not sure yet how big they CAN get. The first one I grew I jarred 12.75 ounces of perfect buds - no flarf. Don’t count flarf in my yield numbers, just prime buds. The success of the first one is what inspired this grow, and why I think I can get a pound from each plant.

Yup

An 11L tote full for dry/cure and then vacuum sealed in 1 L mason jars !

My King Gelato was 14.6 oz so depending on the strain, a pound is doable...

Cheers
Wow. Super sweet man. You didn’t do that in soil did you?

First Break
Banana Sherbet

I didn’t break it. Well, not directly. I had the branches spread so wide and right at the limit where the branch meets the main stem. So much so that the weight of the branch was enough to create a small break overnight. It’s minor - maybe a 25% break. Sucks that it’s on a main, as that one will now slow for a bit while it repairs itself. Complicates things a little and this is our first hit on the downside of making the pound. We’ll see how my surgical skills are I guess. I expect this one to recover. Unfortunately I had no gel or anything to dress the actual wound with, so I taped it so that the branch is on the same line it was in before the little break.

So what you see in the pictures is the surgery on the break first. I also taped the branch up to the screen above for support. Then the second picture shows that just to be safe I supported the other (no break) side to the screen as well.

Damn. Oh well. It is what it is.

I’m blaming it on @Rexer. He had to go and tell me a few posts back about how he’s broken a main at this point before. Jinxed me.
It’s like a pitcher in the middle of a no hitter, Rex….you don’t talk to him! Lmao.

What’s the secret? The ProMix? Come on. Not many are getting your yields in soil. What are you doing differently?

I tried to resist but I couldn’t. Too high and laughing too hard! And don’t act like you can’t telepathically affect my plant whenever you want. I know how you Sensei’s are.

It's must be my well water with a ppm of 500 and ph of 7.5 ;)

Seriously, I don't fuss. When they need it, I water. And feed with every watering.

No phing but I do keep an eye on my ppm's. The Early Miss was an easy trim because in my search for how much is too much I gave her a ppm of 1250 four days in a row.

At the beginning of the fifth day almost all of her fan leaves were half toast o_O

Flushed and backed off to ~ 900 and she chugged on !

I don't do anything for humidity, whatever ambient is plus the contribution from the bags and plant in the grow area.

Pretty sure it boils down to a wet/dry cycle. Pick up the pot, if it's light > water/feed. With Early Miss in such a small pot it was every day !

On my last grow I got complacent after a while and watered Everyone on a schedule. Two of my auto's only produced 6 oz each, sigh...

I do visit regularly, say good morning and good night in a positive and cheerful voice !

And shower them with compliments during the day

Cheers

Awesome thanks. What about light? How do you handle that with autos?

I assume that "Colaze" unit sitting on the bucket is a dehumidifier? Does it cause heat in your tent? My dehumidifier puts out way too much heat.

It does but in this situation it won’t be an issue. It just needs to not vent onto plants. Made that mistake already. Where I have it it will be far away from the plants and it vents the hot air up towards the exhaust fan. Won’t even need it for a while anyway.
