One plant "Hindi" was still showing some signs of dying on the tips of leaves... I decided to use nutes at 1/2 strength when watering yesterday. (1/2 strength for mild veg stage.. still an aggressive veg option). This may have been overkill for "Cookie" who is still growing slow... She looks pretty bad now. Hindi still has tips of leaves fading... Now I don't know if its overkill or under feeding? Blue looks pretty good! No fading.



Next water Ill go with strickly H2O I'm sure..

Hindi's lower leaves continue to get a little worse. Everything else seems pretty good!

Looks too me like you have a heavy feeder she asking for more nitrogen that’s what the wilt from bottom working up usaly is could be a micro nute thing but it looks th me like nitro

Hmm strange! That seed was from ontario government.. When seedling, it looked very dark, heavy and clawed! Nitrogen overkill?! Last grow was same kind of seed.. Started exact same way, dark heavy clawed.. then died quick.

Maybe these seeds arent the best.. Use a lot of nitrogen early?? Then have none? I dunno lol

What it sounds to me like it’s an off breed probably has unbalanced nutrient load therefore it couldn’t handle the amount of N in soil to start now the nitrogen load has shot up with the veg tray adding an extra feed to her schedule over the other girls or it could be the nutrients them selfs not agreeing with that strein depends on what ratios it’s getting some nutrients have a tendency to make some forms of nitrogen unavailable when the ratio is off

Before anything feed wise check your PH make sure it’s not a lock out issue

Gently water with PHed distilled until runoff test run off for ph and ppm if you can’t get runoff try wetting it well and probing it the reading won’t be as accurate but will give you a general idea

Do you think Hindi could have too much nutes?? Or unlikely? "Micro" of the 3 part is packed with nitrogen.

Also, is there an easy pH up? Fairly broke this week and the nutes bring it right down!

Oh also, don't have anything to check ppm unfortunately.

pickling lime at the grocery store... very powerful ph up. Also lye, meant for clearing drains, from the hardware store. Both are very cheap.

Ugg I'm a dumby with the nute mix up hah! Ah well, could have been worse. Watered now with pure water.

Cool will check into that too Emilya! Already use lemon for down, so would go well together hah.

Ahh sorry to keep posting..

I'm really spinning in circles now. Leaves getting much worse. Noticed small spot or two on best plant now So confused.. When I used nutes at full strength (accidentally), I didnt pH!! Just one more curveball to add in the equation... Overfed or completely lacking??

Anyways going to start a thread in frequently asked questions now! Not fair to bug only you none stop about this

Sorry to hear that Jay. My last 2 batches of nutes I mixed
1 gal tap water
2ml dechlorinator
2ml fox farm grow big
2ml fox farm big bloom
2ml fox farm tiger bloom
4ml cal mag
These are 1/2 what the manufacture recommends

when I checked the PH it was 6.5! did not have to decrease or increase ph

if you would like, I could mix you up a batch to try.

Wow very kind offer thanks! Figured low nitrogen was the issue from Canadian's advice. Then I confused myself with giving too strong nutes, not knowing ph, etc..

But low nitrogen certainly seems to be agreed upon! I gave a good feeding of the nitrogen heavy 5-0-1 right now with correct ph! Will see if this helps
