Jay's Detailed Soilless Grow

After watering at 1/4 strength yesterday, I mixed up nutes at 1/2 strength and watered right at the stems, just a weeee bit. This is also the mild veg option for nutes.. still an aggressive veg dose. This is also about the time my last plant started dying, so hopefully these nutes help.. Some dying leaves, but think they're doing well.

I post a loooot hahhaa. How are your girls? Still veggin??

I tried that Jay. Actually shooting up last week or so. Want to remove some fan leaves but hearing conflicting advice on that. I think when I switch to flower they have a few weeks of stretching. This kush strain is supposed to be low lying, not sure if it is suppose to be that low. lol, all the leaves seem pretty healthy.

I bought a moisture probe. It keeps me from watering only when needed. Right now it is about every 3-4 days. Pretty handy tool. only about 5 bucks or so.

Hey boys looking great both of you and Pluto as long as there is about 12-16” you should be good with that light and yea still vegging for a couple more days flower flip on Sunday or Monday depending on how the flush goes when I get home I will post pics here for you to see at service Ontario atm getting my license renewed lmao long line figured I’d check in and the firing leafs won’t just come back what your looking for is for it to stop getting worse and it looks like you have slowed it down or those leafs probably would be dead

Did you lollypop these? How many weeks veg?

The nutrients really perks these plants up! Love it :) Definitely looks to have stopped any dis-colouring.

ps. whats lollipoping??
Jay Lolipopping is when you remove all lower growth bottom 6" or so, these will not yield very big bud and just uses up energy in the plant that can be sending it to the top canopy. It is called that because when your done your plant looks like a lollypop. lol If you look at the last pic of Canadians grow you will see what I mean. Anyone can correct me if I am mistaken. when you switch over to flower, it will be the top canopy that gets all the light.

You are quite right Pluto sorry I didn’t get to that I missed that part but yes that is egactly what you want to do remove any lover branches or leafs that won’t get proper light To yield and the plant will pour all its energy into your tops as long as you lollipop right before flower very little stress or stunting of any kind I usaly do it twice once mid veg just a little than finish them off right before flower

Yes you are very correct you just need a second area to constantly clone and veg plants while you flower just a few of them than you will never need a seed bank again or you can find one very rare pheno type you love and keep her as a constant mother and veg her for years taking clones and always haveing constitansy with your quality and harvest

This only works with photoperiod sensitive streins I.E DONT WASTE TIME AND NUTES TRYING TO CLONE AUTOFLOWERS the genes just don’t allow it as they have a predetermined life span and any cuttings taken will be at the same point in there life only severely stunted with little to no root system

Also know in my journal I say not to use root stimulators but I would only Sudjest that for experienced growers to try as it can be allot more unforgiving if the cuttings don’t have the vigor to keep up I have a very well tested nutrient regime and know my girls have the health and vigor to produce clones without the need of hormones, but I would sudjest grabbing a cloning solution when starting out makes life easier

Cool. Ya guess I always realized you could clone.. but never actually put it together that you'd only need seeds once! haha Until ya want a new strain anyways :) Why are the tips always cut off clones??

The ladies currently... The tiny one is still growing slow, but coming along! Other 2 seem to love their dose of nutrients so far. Hindi is fading a bit, while Blue isn't.. Might give Hindi nutes again next feed, and Blue straight water.. Shall see.
