InTheShed Grows Inside & Out: Jump In Any Time

Hay shed I check on my low and slow bud in the fridge It seems to be dried out it has been in the fridge for 17 days now and if I have enough dry weight I will make some oil for caps and some for butter. I have read several post where you describe how to make the Oil for your caps using the MBM so I am excited to try it . you run the MBM at 160 for 8 hrs. then let it cool over night then another 8hrs. at 160 then strain and put oil in the fridge over night the take it out and fill your caps do I have that right?, Oh yes Decarb first at 240 for an hour does that sound right ?
That all sounds good to me! The only addition I have is that I add 1 Tbs liquid sunflower lecithin/cup oil after I strain the hot oil, and mix it well before it goes in the fridge over night. It's also easier to fill the capsules if you let the oil come to room temps before you do it.

And now for the Monday update!

This weekend I went to delarf the Amnesia Haze auto but didn't find all that much I was comfortable taking off. The stems aren't very long so I left everything except this:

Speaking of the AHa, and whether the plants are always in the tent (day 45):

And here is DDA 2 on day 31, where the purple is starting to show through:

That's all I've got today. I handed off the last of my solo cup clones on Saturday, so all I have now is the mothers and the autos. Without me having to find it, can those of you who have grown the AHa tell me how long it went? @Preston9mm and @Amy Gardner off the top of my head along with anyone else...

:ciao: and I hope you have a great week!

So you add the sun flower lecithin oil after the cook in the MBM would it hurt to add it first and let it cook with the Olive Oil or is it best to add it afterwards when you strain and skip it going into the MBM. I will be receiving my lecithin oil today from the Zon. I had the granules that I used to make butter and I added that along with the butter in the MBM when I first added it so it all cooked together. The butter I made worked really well but maybe I missed something by adding it while it was cooking in the MBM. I plan to use the liquid Lecithin from now on though. I will also let the oil come to room temp after taking it out of the fridge. Thanks for the help. I have picked up several things from you through your journal and I appreciate it

Starting off with this top result from the simple google search "clonex for edible plants" that Alafornia just beat me to :) :
"Clonex Rooting Gel is registered with the EPA and is approved for use on all food crops, including medicinal plants, in all 50 states plus Washington DC and Puerto Rico and is the only rooting gel approved by the Colorado Department of Agriculture for propagating medicinal plants."

On to the quotes:

@CatfishKnight did you skip over this suggestion?

Keep the pressure really low then, certainly for those with pistils! No clue where they are hiding in the tent though...

Nah ;).

Roses are not cannabis. Please don't use any old product on your cannabis. Check the forums for products that work for cannabis, and remember there can be different ones for veg and flower.

Indeed. Thanks for that post nobody!

It's a Pleh

ZHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lol intheshed,
I was just trying to explain that plants have to soak up what they are watering with. At least that is what the box said for using on roses that my wife planted, that it goes into the plants to keep insects off, but it is not for fruit bearing plants. And no I don't plan to use it on my babes. I don't want to take the chance of getting anything bad from so called safe stuff per individuals even when the labels say don't use on fruit bearing plants.

PcAddict, thanks for posting about the Lecithin. I forgot about that and I still have some in the Fridge.

Oh yeah, I only use like 8bars of pressure! Lol

No I have a special low pressure nozzle for my compressor so its fine I don't hurt them with it. :)

No clue where they are hiding in the tent though...

Maybe I should use reverse psychology on them and love them instead, I may have found something that actually DO love me?

has anyone grown this and did it produce like it says ? Fast Buds - Pineapple Express (5pack) - Neptune Seed Bank :420::blunt:

Buddy of mine grew it with good results. He's normally a photo guy and is down on autos but they made a believer out of him. IMO, Fastbuds and Dutch Passion are the two best breeders when it comes to autos. Their genetics seem more stable and you're not depending on the "lucky lottery" on getting a good plant. My results with their other strains have been very consistent. Fastbuds Blue Dream is a household favorite and noone that has tried it has been dissatisfied. It's a hit with Indica and Sativa fans alike. Dinafem and Royal Queen have given me decent results, although not the monsters I've gotten from Fastbuds and Dutch Passion. Sweet Seeds are really hit and miss. Sometimes you get a good one, other times a runt. It's about 50/50. Even the "good" plants from Sweet Seeds are of average size, like the standard from Dinafem or Royal Queen.

Cannasavvy is a she, and a professional canna-chef. Probably why she never has a chance to be on the site any more. But she left us with some amazing creations. Like this or this.

Not sure if you've been there or not, but Preston has a great cooking thread!
I'm trying!

Lol

Gotta replenish muh stash so I can revive that thread!
