InTheShed Grows Inside & Out: Jump In Any Time

Thanks Roost, I guess I did! They got transplanted in their 3rd week. Now...what to do with them! Grow one, give the rest away, and flower the bush in a box? That would be pretty complicated :)

Veg them. Wait til spring then bring them down a rural road somewhere. Jump out and put them 50 feet off the road. Make more clones and do like 20 plants that way lol make good soil and prep them right and you can literally just go grab them in October if they are still there and no one found them

You have seen an aerial map of Los Angeles, yes? And maybe heard about the amount of rain we get here from April through October (none)? Can I just mail them to you ;)?

That's what we used to do, dig a hole with post hole diggers and put 1 plant in the ground then move a 1/4 mile away and repeat. They may get 1 or 2 but they're not getting all of them!

What's up Joe u able to post pics yet

No man you need to use mobile site web server or google chrome browser . Which I don't like I love my app until crap liek this happens but it is what is I guess leaves the imagination more open I think. Well gtg promised a buddy I would to a video of how I read my ppm and how I feed tonight .

Sometimes you can say hey I'll try that or oh like that. Why sharing is so darn important here .

Soon as I find it working I'll let ya know bud ..

Photo dump Saturday! Grey as a drab wool suit here today so everyone is spending the day indoors, except when they need to come out to get manhandled :).

I was going to top Sour G today, but when I went to take it out of the shed I noticed that the leaves were wider than the cup. I said to myself, self I said, "if I top it now I won't be able to transplant it until next weekend because it will need some time to recover." So I thought I'd transplant it today and top it next weekend.

Here is Sour G on day 28 getting a feel for its new home:

I cut the bottom of the solo cup so I could push the whole thing up and out:

The roots were tangled with the screen so I left it attached:

Here it is in the new pot:

I have Mykos and I never remember to use it. I should leave it out by the potting soil instead of in the shed! Oh well...maybe next time :).

Next came the bush, aka AK, which needed another trim. Here is what I took off, and I resisted the urge to save some great cuttings for clones:

Here is the before and after shot:

And a shot from above so you can see how I thinned out the middle. I want some of the middle growth to get taller so I can pick my faves to be the center stems. On the outer stems I trimmed anything growing toward the middle (like pruning a peach tree) and all lower growth:

Last, it was time to top Gold Leaf. Just a small cut off the top:

I watered Sour G with 50% strength and AK-47 with full strength. Gold Leaf will get fed tomorrow because I ran out of nute-water and can't be bothered to mix any today. So many other things to do, like sand the kiln shelves and recoat them. Here are all the plants back in the Oval of Brightness®.

Thanks Pt! I'll be up potting AK at least once more, probably twice. Days start getting shorter June 21st but the flip to 12/12 (and less) is obviously Sept 21st!

yikes thats a looooong veg ... when given the rootspace thats enough to become a huge shrub 4m diameter and 4m high ... and those kind of plants tend to yield anywhere between 4.5 to 9 pounds ... if they get the rootspace and the nutrients obviously (a lot of nutrients !!)

Looking good Shed.....she is going to like that extra leg room brother!

Thanks Van! I wish I could remember the Mykos though!

Wel it ain't going into the ground and it's gotta be moveable after Sept 21st for 12 hours of darkness. I may have a 10 gallon smart pot for the final so that's going to have to do. Unless I flower it now in a sealed cardboard box every night. That's the only other option!

oh and gold leaf still looks N hungry on some leafs ....can it be she is a renowned nutrient guzzler?

I think those leaves are just going to be that color and then die off. Everything new on it is a lovely shade of green!

InTheShed Grows Photos Inside & Out! 420 Clones & A Rooster Farms Seed

Hey Shed - that brought me out of my lurker's corner! You can sprinkle them on the surface and water in - or just even mix them straight into the water. It works. They need to come in contact with some roots as soon as they're active (which happens when they hit moisture) - so after transplant probably the sprinkle on top would be most effective, or just do both. ..

Thanks for coming out into the light!

Oh, I could do that but I'd be afraid it would never get below the top layer of soil. I have Great White which dissolves in water that I can add with my nutes, but I hate that I keep forgetting to add the mykos when I transplant! Grrr...
