InTheShed Grows Inside & Out: Jump In Any Time

Hehe lots on the run! I like it!

I don't have an aero cloner, just a bubble, but I have to use a heat mat, it's usually just less than 70 so the heat mat keeps the res rift below 80 which is great for clones!

Cute little bean . can't wait to watch her grow :3

The aero cloner has the pump in the water so that should add heat to it. Rooster said Lucifer has the one Rooster recommended so I'm waiting for Lucifer to come out of hibernation to ask how much heat it adds. The cloner will be in the shed which is unheated so I'm trying to figure out when I can get it started in there.

Thursday and I have to say it's probably been 5 or 6 months since I had a leaf question.

AK-47 has some yellowing leaves. Anyone concerned?

Re: 420 AK-47 & Gold Leaf - 1st Try With Clones - Soil - In/Out - Vegging Till Fall

Thanks Them! I'll put up a couple of pics of Sour G when it sprouts if this isn't too late for a new years grow. Dunno how you're going to manage 4 journals if you do the JH auto grow too!

Oh and thanks for the potassium recommend. Missed that you got in there first!
I think I'm running 4 or 5 already. Look out sweet sue! Hahaha.

And sure thing buddy. Been doing tons of reading on K def. It appears big was right and too much Na (salt) will lockout K.... not sure what I can really do. Some nugs are losing sugar leaves to it. Hate to see good meds go bad .

Take off the sugar leaves that are on their way out and freeze them. They may not be peak THC but you should still be able to use them with the rest of the trim.

In soil you can top dress your plants with burnt wood ash.
It will steadily stabilize the medium everytime you water and helps release K

Would be too late for flowering plants but can help if you are still in veg. I use lime rather than wood ash.

But I still hit this issue from time to time. Humidity can play a gigantic role in the way potassium deficiencies can appear in your grow. Low humidity can make a potassium issue seem much worse than it really is.

Would using wood ash be better than just ramping up the nutes I'd be using anyway? Or should I just deal with the potassium issue alone and wait on the Grow Big? I'm in no hurry to make this a huge plant!

Yeah that's def not helping my scenario.... good news is I see a lot of amber ... Can't believe I'm gonna make harvest!

I would add some wood ash. Continue a slightly less veg feeding for a week or so. And see if it starts to clear up any. Gotta watch potassium to see if it spreads verticle or not. The lower leaves are always affected first. Watch and see if they are climbing with yellow.

Or you can just wait it out and when you transplant hit them with lime in the soil mix.

Friday morning everyone and WE HAVE LIFTOFF!

It is officially DAY 1 of Rooster Farm's Sour G. Let's hope it's a girl :).

No tap root yet though so it's not going into a pot yet. Normally I'd put it out in the sun immediately but it was still pretty chilly this morning and I didn't want to shock it going from 80º down to 60º, so I changed out the light bulb to the 6500K 23W (100W eq) CFL for the day. Tomorrow I'll move it into the sun when it's warmer and plant it if the tap root is sticking out.

On the clone front, I sifted this ash from the fireplace and sprinkled it on the top of the AK-47 soil, and I watered it with the weak nute solution from last time. Next time I water it's moving on to full Grow Big and Big Bloom.

I'll be putting in for a name change for this journal so don't be surprised. Have a great day!
