InTheShed Grows Inside & Out: Jump In Any Time

you use the same mic stands we liked in the production company.

what are you playing for a kit ? i need an e-kit as the living situation won't let me use anything other right now. i really need to play. had a yamaha in storage i had to sell. just an baby kit but still hurt.

Interesting. I've harvested a few outdoor grows now and yeah I wait until plenty of amber trichomes. So far no couch lock which is mmm mmm good!
Sounds about right GB. @BeezLuiz had his outdoor flowers tested a few years back when he was harvesting based on amber and found very low levels of THC (and virtually no CBN) compared to the specs. Since then he and I and a few others are doing our best to use other methods to determine when to harvest, like water uptake and change in smell.
Yeah know I keep seeing same two people I'm just about to call them out and say let's see your grow. . Cause they keep telling people water water water and chem chem they look hungry and hungry. And I ain't seen sht they grew yet. I can hold my own on growing . But dam. Some of these guys and ladies never grew before and they hook line and sinker . And next thing we see is fkd up plants
I'd have to say that I didn't think the water advice was bad, especially since I was the first one to mention it being under-watered and to use a lot more! And besides backing that up with my own grows in ProMix I pointed to how Otter does it very much the same in soil. But as you mentioned, the grower has to decide on their own which way to go.
Hell yeah I need that. With my camera. It's a bitach. To hold still
They're so sensitive to any change in distance that I really think they're best used on buds taken off the plant and put on a table!
Nary a white pistol on your gal and only a few brown ones on mine.
There is clearly a distortion in the space-time continuum.
Speaking of time...
I ate a clock earlier. It was time consuming.
Was fine until I went back for seconds.
Ha! That was awful but I refuse to apologize!
The sun will do that to the pistils no matter what, and I think your space-time continuum is senescing nicely. No apologies needed for anything my dear!
Damn is all i got for that It OK though take another hit and rethink . Looking good shed good to see you got some help !
LOL! Thanks sb. :)
Sounds like a Steven Wright line. It made me chuckle .
Oh good!
Getting close...super close... Great job... And nice use of the mic stand.
Thanks HappyHaz!
Well, I never knew you were a drummer and singer, thats awesome Shed. She's looking great, how long do you figure, based on her water intake? Another week?
Haven't done it in a while now other than in the garage with the headphones on and an electronic drum kit. And the DV is still drinking 2 gallons in 48 hours so I'm figuring a week at least!

My electronic set is a Yamaha DTX430K but I liked my old kick trigger better than the one came with it. It's a Roland KD-5 from when I had an entire midi setup in the early 90s. My real kit is a 1950s Ludwig jazz set with an added rack tom and a lot more cymbals. :cheesygrinsmiley:

i'd love a dtx. been holding out for a 530 or 550. i like the active hi-hat and kick. i had a couple rolands and always busted the kick and hat triggers. also had a roland with the active kick that we added live cymbals to. it was pieced from one that i had busted lol ... just upgraded the kick. that was the best to play. i've never liked the electronic hi-hats. or cymbals really. rims too.

my last live kit was a yamaha maple custom that was sold to the production company i worked for.

Must have been hard to part with unless they overpaid (or you needed the cash)!

i literally cried lol. it was essentially a small touring kit. i couldn't afford the storage anymore. i got rid of a bunch of stuff. had to decide between that and the car i'm building. i'm only a intermediate drummer so that went. i know 13 yr olds who are better lol :p

haven't had a live kit for what seems for ever. and haven't had a e-kit for near 3 yrs now. since just before the crapdemic. used to do a regular bs jam with some friends but i got no kit or place to play anymore. decided i wanna change that up moving forward some way.

Late Friday mini-update!

I planted the Jack Herer 1.1.x perlite clones (seen here) into ProMix HP today:

And when the outside plants come in at night, the desk is kinda crowded:

The big bushy collection at the rear are three Sour G and two Doug's Varin clones (seen here spread out). Those are really ready for 1 gallon pots but I don't have any room for them yet. So much non-flowering going on here!

Incoming weekend! :slide:

hempy cloning is just too easy and lazy lol :cheesygrinsmiley:
nearly everyone i know hempy clones now and just transplants to whatever end media they want to finish in.

So easy I'm giving away all the JH clones!

i can grow 5 - 8 realistically depending what buckets i use. i always pull 12 - 20 cuttings to clone thinking most are gonna die. i pretty much have a 100% rate in hempy cloning. so i wind up distributing solos all over hells half acre :p

at last count i got about a dozen new growers started.
i just pop by for coffee or a beer ... and say " hey so i gotta couple plants i brought ya you might like " ... :cheesygrinsmiley:

when i see jh i think jehova's witness and we don't need none of them cloned no more ... :cheesygrinsmiley:

before legal the rcmp, and the border agency, just used to put stickers all over my overseas parcels, as way of winking at me that they knew what i was up to ...

edit : but i always got them. thanks to canada post :cheesygrinsmiley:

All this clone stuff makes me want to get back into some photos. I’m just so limited on space and I also want to build up the variety of my personal stash before I start limiting my options to just one or two strains.:)

Hey shed i was wondering when you put photoperiod plants outside for the summer grow season?
I usually start my seeds in mid April, and then transplant to 20 gal pots and put them outside in mid to late May. In the 2 weeks prior to setting outside, I gradually adjust my light schedule from 18 hrs of light to about 14.5 hrs of light. This matches what mother nature gives me during that time of the spring.
I also floated my perlite cuttings on Sunday. Of five Candidas cut on Feb 26, one has roots:

And of the the six Jack Herers cut on Feb 19, five have roots:
Nice work on the clones. Is this typical for how long it takes to get roots? I just took some cuttings on March 1st, not sure how long it will take to get some new growth, but seems like 1 month will be about right?

I'm still hoping to get some of my buds from last season tested. I've just been distracted lately and keep forgetting to contact the testing lab. They recently changed ownership so I'm not sure what their new procedure and pricing is right now. I'll keep you posted when I get my act together.
