Sounds about right GB. @BeezLuiz had his outdoor flowers tested a few years back when he was harvesting based on amber and found very low levels of THC (and virtually no CBN) compared to the specs. Since then he and I and a few others are doing our best to use other methods to determine when to harvest, like water uptake and change in smell.Interesting. I've harvested a few outdoor grows now and yeah I wait until plenty of amber trichomes. So far no couch lock which is mmm mmm good!
I'd have to say that I didn't think the water advice was bad, especially since I was the first one to mention it being under-watered and to use a lot more! And besides backing that up with my own grows in ProMix I pointed to how Otter does it very much the same in soil. But as you mentioned, the grower has to decide on their own which way to go.Yeah know I keep seeing same two people I'm just about to call them out and say let's see your grow. . Cause they keep telling people water water water and chem chem they look hungry and hungry. And I ain't seen sht they grew yet. I can hold my own on growing . But dam. Some of these guys and ladies never grew before and they hook line and sinker . And next thing we see is fkd up plants
They're so sensitive to any change in distance that I really think they're best used on buds taken off the plant and put on a table!Hell yeah I need that. With my camera. It's a bitach. To hold still
The sun will do that to the pistils no matter what, and I think your space-time continuum is senescing nicely. No apologies needed for anything my dear!Nary a white pistol on your gal and only a few brown ones on mine.
There is clearly a distortion in the space-time continuum.
Speaking of time...
I ate a clock earlier. It was time consuming.
Was fine until I went back for seconds.
Ha! That was awful but I refuse to apologize!
LOL! Thanks sb.Damn is all i got for that It OK though take another hit and rethink . Looking good shed good to see you got some help !
Oh good!Sounds like a Steven Wright line. It made me chuckle .
Thanks HappyHaz!Getting close...super close... Great job... And nice use of the mic stand.
Haven't done it in a while now other than in the garage with the headphones on and an electronic drum kit. And the DV is still drinking 2 gallons in 48 hours so I'm figuring a week at least!Well, I never knew you were a drummer and singer, thats awesome Shed. She's looking great, how long do you figure, based on her water intake? Another week?
My electronic set is a Yamaha DTX430K but I liked my old kick trigger better than the one came with it. It's a Roland KD-5 from when I had an entire midi setup in the early 90s. My real kit is a 1950s Ludwig jazz set with an added rack tom and a lot more cymbals.what are you playing for a kit ? i need an e-kit as the living situation won't let me use anything other right now. i really need to play. had a yamaha in storage i had to sell. just an baby kit but still hurt.

Only mod I made to mine was having the cymbal holder rods lengthened and angled by a local welding shop.i'd love a dtx. been holding out for a 530 or 550
Must have been hard to part with unless they overpaid (or you needed the cash)!my last live kit was a yamaha maple custom that was sold to the production company i worked for.

GB and I live a lot closer than you and I do.hmmm... how far do you think you can mail them ?
GB and I live a lot closer than you and I do.
I usually start my seeds in mid April, and then transplant to 20 gal pots and put them outside in mid to late May. In the 2 weeks prior to setting outside, I gradually adjust my light schedule from 18 hrs of light to about 14.5 hrs of light. This matches what mother nature gives me during that time of the spring.Hey shed i was wondering when you put photoperiod plants outside for the summer grow season?
Nice work on the clones. Is this typical for how long it takes to get roots? I just took some cuttings on March 1st, not sure how long it will take to get some new growth, but seems like 1 month will be about right?I also floated my perlite cuttings on Sunday. Of five Candidas cut on Feb 26, one has roots:
And of the the six Jack Herers cut on Feb 19, five have roots:
I'm still hoping to get some of my buds from last season tested. I've just been distracted lately and keep forgetting to contact the testing lab. They recently changed ownership so I'm not sure what their new procedure and pricing is right now. I'll keep you posted when I get my act together.@BeezLuiz had his outdoor flowers tested a few years back when he was harvesting based on amber and found very low levels of THC (and virtually no CBN) compared to the specs.
