InTheShed Grows Inside & Out: Jump In Any Time

Actually that wasn’t the video Shed, it was the one with Eloise Theisen “Cannabis for Neurodegenerative Disease.” She discovered this working with a geriatric population.
Wasn't the Eloise Theisen video was the one where she discovered that 1:1 was good for agitation with dementia? The one I named was the one where Michelle Ross indicates the spot on the upper spine (45 mins 38 sec) as a good place to apply the oil because of the unmyelinated neurons.
The reason you’ll get a mild buzz from an infused bath - and to be honest, that would take a lot more oil than any of us would be willing to dump in a tub of water - is because you have openings that the cannabinoids can access to get inside your skin. :battingeyelashes:
THC oil baths! Gap in the market :thumb:

Also, welcome to my thread SweetSue! :welcome:

Well, I guess we can start with the beginning. Or perhaps a new special Shed's Oil thread. We can get Amy and Sue to chime in also. Of course we can put some finishing touches when Sue comes to town.

I guess to begin with would be what type of materials are needed to make it.

When I get back from vacation I intend to start the thread on favorite oil recipes and ways we’re using them in real life.

Unless one of you want to start it? :battingeyelashes:

Ahhh..... I’ve been remembering that incorrectly then, haven’t I? Lol! Thanks for setting me straight Shed. :high-five:

And bonus points for the time stamp. :thumb:

At some point, you and I will need to chat about your making oil for topical application. Being an older guy, I've got plenty of aches and pains and some that show up out of no where with a vengeance. From what I've seen the commercially purchased products are rather expensive, if I could figure out a yield benefit analyses I might have another growing purpose. After all it looks like I'm going to have much more than I could ever smoke by the end of this year.
Topicals are great.....love em for my back injury. If Shed can't help ya, there are lots of thread for you to check out. Just ask and one of us will get ya where you need to go. Now of course by the time I catch up on the next three + pages on this thread you very well may have everything you need.

Save your time BTz. I have done a lot of the research already. If for some reason you don't like the info I give you, feel free to start from there. But don't start with google. Start with Shed :).

Topicals are not traditionally absorbed into the bloodstream, so they don't get you high or show up on drug tests. I say traditionally because it is possible to make transdermal patches that do, but it's not what we're doing here.

They smell like weed for a while and then it goes away unless you stick your nose in my neck. I have never had someone tell me I smell like weed when I use it. You can also add essential oils to the final product to mask the smell. Lavender is a common oil for that but you can use anything that you enjoy the smell of.
The only other disclaimer I want to throw out here about topicals and drug tests is to ensure you don't apply to any cuts. Also make sure you wash your hands before rubbing your eyes as well.

It is possible to absorb THC in high enough quantities to pop on a piss test if you have open cuts/wounds.

Swear to god, I blink and there's six more pages! I can't keep up!
Damn non-automated grows!

Excellent advice Van, thanks!
