Okay, let's move on from the Sour G leaf issues. I'll post the other pics from this morning .
Here is Auto Masszar on day 16. Still looking a little pale, and I nute-watered another circle 6" out from the stem. In case you're wondering, I buried the stem this weekend:
Very tight nodes so far and not enough stretch for me to bend it over yet. I'm hope all the action is underground!
Here's a pic of a bud on the AK:
And if you zoom in you can see some frost beginning to form on the sugar leaves:
I cannot not mess with the AK every morning. Here is what I took off the plant from underneath:
This weekend I'll work from the top and then try to lock up the scissors for a while!
One last thing. I mixed up a gallon of nutes for the AK this morning to add to the ½ gallon left over from last time. This gallon was an extra tsp of Tiger Bloom:
1 tsp Armor Si
3 ml cal/mag+
¼ tsp Open Sesame
3 tsp Tiger Bloom
3 tbs Big Bloom
192 ounces in, about 24 ounces out. TDS runoff was still around +700 and the plant looks just fine. Kinda like Moonshine's with his last plant. So far, so good!
I'll need a sealed backyard with a removable roof!So weird cause it waa a really warm winter for us. Only got down to like -30. (I guess my phones a Nazi it just tried to spell like with a k... )
Maybe ill just run ducting to everyone grow rooms and that way no one will need to pay for AC
Me too Bilbo! I felt this way the first time my autos flowered. By the next grow I was like "whatever"!Cant wait to see how the AK turns out. Especially with that flat-top. Coming out like GI joe.
I swear growing in general makes my bollocks tingle with excitement lolI'll need a sealed backyard with a removable roof!

Thanks Retrix! That sounds like a more reasonable price point. What solution do you store it in? I've had mine in a cup with the 4.01 calibrating stuff.Hey Shed, I had the problem with calibrating the cheap PH pens too. I almost killed a whole grow once because my pen was saying my reseviour was at 5.7 but in reality it was 4.1. I looked for PH pens that aren't so expensive because I'm a cheap ass. I found one called The Apera PH20.
I got it on Amazon for 49 bucks I believe. It's not the cheapest pen around, however it doesn't cost 150 to 200 dollars either. It came already calibrated. I have never had to re-calibrate it yet. I keep the bulb covered in storage solution and it has remained faithful for going on 4 years now.

Yes I love that thing. It saved my DWC grow for sure. That is a nice find.....
There is a kit that comes with the 3rd point calibration solution and the standard aperra storage solution. I think it is made out of salt or something. The cap has a fill line built in. You just put drops in up to the line and store it cap side down. It us4 AAA batteries and has auto shut off, PH, and Temp conversion accuracy check. I guess temperature affects PH? And it is completely water proof. And it floats! Don't ask me how I know that LOL! It offers a lot for 49 bucks and had me wondering why other pens cost 100 to 300 dollars. Thanks Retrix! So I'm buying the meter and some storage solution? I already have a bottle of calibration solution. I don't want to buy what I don't need! There is a kit that comes with the 3rd point calibration solution and the standard aperra storage solution. I think it is made out of salt or something. Oh no the storage solution is optional. I just bought it because I wanted to do 3 points of calibration instead of the standard 2 points. The pen comes with 2 points. They claim that if you do a third calibration the pen will be more accurate, but it isn't necessary. So I figured what the hell and sprung for the 3rd point kit.So I'm buying the meter and some storage solution? I already have a bottle of calibration solution. I don't want to buy what I don't need!
Sorry to keep bugging but I like my shit perfectly clear. What you're calling storage solution is one of the calibrating solutions?
