InTheShed Grows Inside & Out: Jump In Any Time

Thanks to @RETRIX, I ordered the Apera PH20 tester pH pen from amazon yesterday morning. I had a choice of the pen alone or the full kit with the calibration solution. I went with just the pen and ordered a bottle of storage solution separately. I figured the pen would be here Monday and the solution mid-week.

Friday the 13th is not unlucky for me, because not only did the pen get here in one day, they sent the full on kit with its own carrying case!

I still have to wait for the storage solution, but pretty slick! And now I know how to say "important note" in German as well ;).
Resisted getting ph and ppm meters because i have a kit for my aquariums and always hated the mixing and test strips/vials. But the pens are the bees knees

I'm going in with my hands so I think they'll be okay. Do red wigglers regenerate as well?

Yes, they do regenerate, but rarely do you get two worms. Mostly only one. The rest becomes fertilizer typically.

Even though some scoff at measuring, the rest of us do measure our nutes and find the data useful ;). [re: the earlier scoffing]

I'll try not to injure any of them while Barry White plays in the background. Worm porn is an unexplored area of the internet to me!

So what did you mean by bennies anyway?
Beneficial microbes the products you mentioned sound about Right!

I'm not a soil expert but any time I see some deficiency developing a little dose of those goodies can help postpone the problem, allowing you more time to look into the problems.

Thanks Them! I just got a new order of Mykos so I hope I remember to add it to the soil. I have a habit of forgetting it because it's in the back of the shed behind the Oval of Brightness®.

Never thought about ph 20 some years ago. I appreciate the scoffing

Happy Saturday all! Going to be a busy weekend so I want to get the pics up so that no one goes through Shedpic Withdrawal Syndrome :). Haven't been into the worm bin so those pics will have to wait.

Let's begin with the baby of the bunch: Auto Masszar on day 19. It's beginning to pick up a bit of steam, but still not as green as I'd like. Tomorrow I'll be upping the Grow Big and including a dose of Great White:

Next time I plant an auto, please remind me not to soak the pot first.

Next up is the AK-47 clone:

The Gold Leaf clone:

And Sour G, due for transplant tomorrow. After it gets used to the new home I'll be thinning the down-under:

And last but certainly not least, AK on flip day 21!

I'm going to have to tie a rope around it just under the tops at night to slide it into the dark box. As you can see, it's not really a rectangle anymore!

I hope you have a great weekend planned. I've got to do the taxes. Feh!
