Yeah same here (UK), was looking at their 3+ series, when you go to the check out, it adds taxes first, that added another £60, then you get shipping, so it starts adding up.

Yeah for sure, I don’t know what percentage for duty you’d have to pay if I was going to take a shot in the dark I’d say your looking at probably another 30-40 quid. For import fees. That’s just a wild guess though. They do a great job of undervaluing the item to keep it cheaper

Yeah, with taxes you're looking at an extra £100-£150 on top of list price, depending on light.
If nobody else is adding uv to their lights it's still worth it , just for the uv.

Not to worry, coco is very forgiving. definitely my favorite way to grow but I've never tried hempy.

Never used Coco or Hempy Hydro soils. I use another its called Root Farm, works really well, I just add some perlite, seems to be made from wood bark, not expensive and easy to sift roots out and reuse. Never checked ph at runoff, will have to do that tonight. Cheers

Did you get the parts and build it, or was the kingbrite pre made plug and play?

Pretty well, Boards were mounted on the heat sink. I had to mount the driver to the heat sink and plug into the WAGO’s. That’s all though. Very easy to set up.

Does it say what diodes it's running?
To tell you the truth, you'd most probably be better off with a mars hydro.
They've got a new range of lights coming out in a week. Looks like their new ones will have Samsung diodes and meanwell drivers, that combo is pretty much the industry standard nowdays.

I purchased a light from Justintime review its called enjo yield, great light check out the review, its got 2 settings veg and flower also has a timer, I use it to do my seedlings and most of my Veg in a closet I have setup with Mylar. Great Light, great Price, at least it was when I purchased it 8 months ago from amazon. Cheers

The light you posted is only a 50w though, 130w HPS equivalent it says. If I’m looking at the same one. According to the description. I’d have to say you should pass on that one IMO

Yep, just checked it, just 50w.
I don't see why it would need 2 meanwell drivers for 50w.
Also , unless I'm blind , it doesn't say what diodes are in it or it's foot print for flowering.

It’s running 35w per driver (About $10 each those LPC) pushing 9-48v dc and 700mA, Im pretty sure 1 Samsung diode QB can handle like 2700mA. I say pass @burdok420. You can do way better!
