Thanks for the compliment. I'm really pleased thus far how everything is going with the grow. I will be doing an update with photos in the next couple days.
Getting laid off from my job in the cannabis industry on friday, (kind of bummed) but will have a lot more time to participate more on the forums here
Bummer about getting laid off bud! Hopefully you can find something to occupy your time soon.
OH my gosh!!! Wow brotha, its been a long time. Glad to see you have returned! Welcome backGood to see you still at it Icemud. Recently became active on the site again and lots of old faces still around. Plants look great buddy.
keep em green
Yea I kind of expected this was coming. The california cannabis (legal) industry is failing due to extremely high(greedy) taxes, the failure of the state to shut down illegal retailers, and the vape "scare" really has just added onto the already poor sales leaving even more debt for the retailers.... when they can't pay their debts (including to manufactures like us) then we can't pay our bills either.. so I knew it was only a matter of time. My hope is that I can quickly use my expertise in compliance and transition to a new company quickly, but we will see.....
In the meantime I have a ton of "at home projects" that I have been neglecting so I may take 1-2 weeks to get a bunch of that stuff knocked out so that I can feel good about having the time to get these things done.
I'm looking at it as positive as I can, and recognize the universe was telling me I was "too much into routine" and needed to stir things up
Glad you can look at it as a positive. The problem with the legal industry is that everything is so expensive. Between taxes, the cost of retail space and everyone trying to get their cut (by charging exorbitant prices to those in the industry) it makes it tough. Do people want to pay what they have been paying their buddy all along or do they want to go buy a $75 eighth after paying for all the taxes and mark up? Most states have done things poorly that leads to either a flooded market or one that is not conducive to legal sales. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.
Your compliance expertise should land you a job quickly, best of luck with the home projects bud.
