Re: Icemud LED Grow Featuring The All New Budmaster COB Technology - White Full Spect
Very nice looking plant!
Well the color temp is very close, I think the budmasters are 3500k which the difference between the 2 are minimal. Metal halides are usually around 75-100lm watt and the Citizin LED's that are in the budmasters I believe are around 120lm/watt or so the COBs are slightly more efficient. The part where LED excel over MH bulbs is called lumen maintenance. A metal halide will lose about 20% of its light within the first 6000 hours of use, where a Citizen COB will only lose between 2-6% of its light output over that same amount of time, and around 35,000 hours the MH will be at around only 50% light output, where the COB's will only have lost about 10-15% output or less. So in terms of longevity the COBs last much longer. As far as plant growth, it would be interesting to see how they would compare.
Very nice long skinny leaves, looks to be great smoke. I'm looking at your first two shots and your white light looks very close to my MH bulb that I'm finishing my grow up with now. I wonder how 4300K MH bulb , running at 1050 watts compares to yours in its white color setting.
Cheers
