Thanks VOJ and TB....yeah Joe, Monrovia makes good stuff...and they are proud of it! Kind of had to use it since we can't buy the Fox Farms stuff locally. I did swing by a place in New Orleans after the SuperBowl celebrations (which was complete debauchery) and bought some of their products......like Grow Big, Happy Frog bat guano, and some red worm castings. We ordered some Open Sesame and Big Bloom off the internet, just didn't want to pay shipping on the bags of soil.

Awesome set up Hypo! Everything is going smooth. Your plants look a few inches little than mine and lets see your just a couple days ahead of me as far as start date. Are you going to grow Gladys under the CFL's for the duration? Or did you just get 'grown' out of space (almost happening to me)?

Yo Wood....yeah we are getting grown out of space for sure. Until they show their sex Gladys will stay under the cfls. Hopefully all five will be girls, but that is obviously not very likely. I will tell you the truth, I am really impressed with how well this plant has responded to the cfls.....as well as how successful other guys on this forum have been growing under the cfls. If we hadn't LST'd Matilda and Lucille they would be very tall...compared to Daisy and Broomhilda (who look to be Indica-dominant)

Wood...matters not my man! Your stuff looks great and I can only hope that our babies grow up to be like the ones we see on other folk's journals. Take a look at the preflower on Daisy and see what you think. Hard to tell from the photo, but looks like a female pre-flower without the pistil (at least I hope that's what it is). Thanks for keeping up with our grow...

Alright guys......help a brother out! Take a hard look at the little pre-flower on the lower right portion of the photo and tell me what you think. This photo isn't nearly as magnified as it really is in real life so I have a different picture of the little bugger in my mind's eye. Thanks.....

From what I can see (and you have a great pic) I think your right it's a female. The ones I'm seeing on a couple of mine are more like a tiny ball. You should see hair or two soon.

Thanks guys....that's what I am seeing too. When I look at it with the mag glass it clearly looks like a female flower without the hair.....shall we say "shaven" lol..anyhow, hope it pans out. She is the pride of our grow thus far (although alot of the others are catching up quickly)

Lol, yeah. Back in the 70s I always heard (outdoor), "Cut those tall/quick ones or you're going to have seeds."

Often true, but not always. The patient Soul soon learned that doing that every time would guarantee no seeds. But it just might be because you'd killed all the female plants which would mean no seeds because you had no bud, lol.

That last pic is most likely female like the guys above me say. But the pic you posted previously, I believe, Daisy, I had agreed with you that I thought is was female. I looked at it again and it looks to me like an emerging leaf, the beginning of another branch (not sure of the scientific name). This could be a good thing as females show later than males in most cases. I've been 'in the hunt' for a few days now with mine and right now I'm seeing double with the magnifying glass! LOL. I'm on day five and I got two that are showing something that looks suspiciously like a little (one) 'roundish' sack. The remaining three plants are showing absolutely nothing. Hopefully these three will be my females.

the last time i grew canibis it was abt 1984 had a farm,got a seedling,stuck it out by the hog pen late spring,mostly forgot abt it till september,it was around 7-8 ft tall,got 2lbs buds(gud stuff).never even gave it a thought abt male or female,just lucked out.anyway to quit rambling.this indoor thing has been amazing,thanks to all you guys.(who said old dogs couldn't learn).i got my fingers crossed,mabe i'll luck out again.be nice to get 3 out of 5.try to get some better shots in a couple days

I was JUST coming over here to say that! i was looking at pics from when i was sexing and everyone said every pic iput up was male.
