Hydro Light Worker journal

I think it may have been the early temp and humidity issues that could have caused some stress. I am not sure though as I grow in soil. I think it may be unstable genetics in these clones as all of them are hermied but they were also exposed to the same stress. I would grow them out and keep plucking the nuts so You can keep the seed count low. I would be inspecting and plucking twice a day. You still will end up with some smoke. I would ditch the seeds though and get the clones elsewhere next time. That is just my opinion though as the choice is yours.

Thanks TG I agree on all counts and have been plucking twice a day.

I don't know how hermies usually act but these girls show very few signs of being Bi. Maybe it was just a phase they were going through. Sometimes girls just like to swing on both sides for a while. Usually I like that but not with my plants. Not sure if they will produce any seeds or not. I thought they were for a while but now I don't think so. Still fighting mold. I was told to spray some lemon water on them to raise the PH so I will see how that goes along with a large fan. As you will see from the pics I have the cabinet in a small closet so I am sure that has been my biggest problem. As you will also see I am ramping up my new grow room so I won't have that problem anymore.

Sub and liked very nice and informative journal Light! Like it allot have you come to terms with the hermies if they were or were not? It sure looked on the first pics like they were hermie. In that case i feel sad for your loss but after each grow you learn more and more. I love your new room it looks really sick, I must say it looks all very professional.

Thanks MG and great job on those grow boxes. Yes they are hermies but I think they were shooting a lot of blanks because so far I have only found a few seeds and a lot of very sticky buds. So I think I will still get some good smoke out of it. When I seen the seeds I plucked them right away but now I wish I would have let them mature because I am rethinking if these strains are really bad or I just screwed the pooch when it came to growing them. I was told the other day that if you don't have the light cycle set and on a timer it could cause this and half way through veg I decided I wanted them to be under light at night when it was coldest out in my shop. So every couple of days I adjusted the cycle by an hour until I had it where I wanted it. That is one good thing about being new at this your get a pass for doing stupid things on your first grow. Right?

Best part about being new is also that when in a forum such as 420 you get some amazing help, keeps one positive and dedicated! Cant wait to see the crop out and what you will actually get...
Thanks for the box comment, the PC one is getting quite the rep amongst friends here everyone wants one, they are not expensive to make with lights and everything managed to make it for 50 bucks. Could be the x-mas gift of the year? That is if it works like intended

I am not sure you will be able to tell by the pics bellow but it is getting pretty frosty in my cabinet and the buds are starting to thicken up.I am glad I didn't pull the plug on this grow. I think I will be doing things quite a bit different next time. I will move these cabinets into a spare room in my house where I can regulate the heat and air flow better. I think I will also do a scrog in each one and may do it with soil instead of the DWC. I will only be doing one plant per cabinet for sure and save the larger grows for my new room.

Brrrrr... It does look nice and frosty, should be interesting to see what you actually get from the grow.

Keep up the good work, cant wait for your big rooms journal to kick off. :thumb:

Looking fantastic over here. Keep it up! :thumb:

Ok, we need pictures of the ebb n flow

Hell I agree but what I can't figure out is where in the hell does the day go? I have been going in circles and not getting anything done it seems. I will get some pics up soon and hopefully start a new journal.

It seems my buds are producing a lot of seeds as of late so I am not sure how the smoke will rate but this grow has been a great teacher for me. At least I hope it has.

Sorry to read your last post in your Journal A1. If you have ever heard about energy healing and would like to experience it let me know.

A1 I don't know how you manage to do one of these systems in your house. I look at this thing and get water everywhere. It took me too long to get this room put together as far as being able to get all of my plants out of that cabinet before the roots got too tangled but I got it done. The clones came out looking pretty healthy but the plants I started from seeds ar a different story. I think they will be okay in about a week though. I will spread them out and use all 4 lights when they get a little bigger but I may as well conserve a little electricity while I can. It is hard to believe they were all crammed in my cabinet 4 days ago.

Any how here are some pics.

Yeah, the water CAN be an issue but ater doing it a year I have it pretty much figured out. I still get some water dripped sometimes but thats because I have made a mistake and not the system itself. I keep tellin ya I'd be happy to come by and help you out. I have a couple of suggestions just from looking at the pictures but I'd rather see the room myself so I am sure of what I am seeing before saying anything.
Looking good so far though. I was just up your way a few days ago. I have a cousin that lives in the same place you do and was there for a visit.

Lights are a little far away for 1. I don't know what size they are but being in air cooled reflectors it shouldint be hard to get them within 16"-18". Plants are far away from the wall making the reflective surface non operational for 2. And just the way your light cords and such are hung up. Not vary clean. I need to reread this journal to say much more. But to each their own! I just give advice from personal fails and successes. Follow at own risk
