I took the old black base plate and put a few coats of candy lime paint on it. Next week I should have a few pieces come in that will really take it to another level ;)

The garden is really starting to build the buds now in week four.
Last night I gave three of the plants a dose of Atami Bloombastic supplement with half strength 'Nova Bloom. So far so good. I'm thinking of giving half the garden Bloombastic and half the garden Dark Energy as supplements thru heavy bloom. I'm pulling back the base nutes to half strength as I introduce these two hi powered supplements. I'm still using Floranectar at minimal dosage but I'm cutting out Floralicious while I use Bloombastic & Dark Energy.
I'll run the next two waterings at these levels and see how they like it. If they want more I'll keep bumping up the 'Nova untill I see a bit of burn on the tips and then i'll pull back a little from there.:MoreNutes:
The garden is also drinking so much and eating so much that it's not returning very much water for reusing. With a 10 gallon watering I might get 2 back. I'm still watering every other day sometimes letting them go an extra day if the pots feels heavy.
I think the avacado tree brought in some unwelcomed guests. I'm fighting off a pretty good infestation of gnats. My treatments are Fox Farms Dont Bug Me Spray sprayed around the medium and lower canopy and yellow sticky traps. The treatments really knocked the numbers down but I still need to keep them up because these little bastards are the come back kings. Thanks for the bugs Home Depot..:hmmm:

Love your pics Bandit! Sorry to hear about the gnats. Are they easy to spot? I don't see so great, and my worry is some kind of bug problem that I don't even notice until it's totally out of hand.

Very sorry to hear about the gnats!! Are you able to put something in the res? Soak/flood that tree real good it will have larva feeding on the roots. If you can put panty hose around the tree pot it would be good, so they cant crawl out of the bottom. Pull tight up around the stem. Drowned em!

Plants look awesome Bandit - I almost said something when you brought in the avocado tree, but I figured you would already be aware of the risks. I've seen so many people end up with bug problems, etc., due to sharing a grow room with other plants like this... Bummer about the unwanted visitors. Are they gnats or fruit flies?

Anyway, your plants are still looking awesome like always!

Oh yeah they're ez to see. Little black buggers that hang out around the surface of the medium and under the canopy. Give your plant a gentle shake and it will stir 'em up if you got em. They're really attracted to yellow so they'll fly into a sticky trap when they decide to land.

Right now i've got 'em on the run but I cant let off while I have my foot on their throat :grinjoint:
I looked at some GoGnats the other day because I do want to give the avacado tree a soil drench but it was kinda pricey so I figured I would wait to see if the Dont Bug Me & Sticky Traps would kill them off completly. I think in the end though i will need to give the tree a drench just to be sure.
The cannabis does'nt seem to be having any problems because of the gnats. The ladies are really in supreme health so that's probably helping them fight off any adversity. I do want to get more traps in so they dont have any place to land but on the traps :lot-o-toke:
I like the panty hose idea...I'll try to work that in! :thanks:

Yeah I know...I thought I could get away with it but no...It bit me in the ass lol!
I'm pretty sure they're fungus gnats but they could be fruit flies. They're pretty ez to kill as adults but like Tmac said I think I'll need a drench to get 'em at the larve stage.

Hello bandit, I just finished reading your journal and it is amazing. Congatulations. The music was played on every page that i read and i have finished reading with good vibes. The Crop looks great good luck with the winged fudgekers. Hope to implement the co2 in my grow area during my next couple grows. Hope you see tremendous results from using it, because it will motivate me that much more to get it. Love the ssv. Gotta get some new toys , everyone else is and i feel left behind with my toking equipment. Anyways I'm subscribed. :bravo:

Bandit, I'm lovin the SSV. I have a Da Buddha that I love, but havn't tricked it out like you have your SSV. I've tried tons of Vape's and still love the Da Buddha. Funny, I've never tried an SSV, got the DB because of price vs review (couldn't really afford the SSV at the time). I've gotta get me a new whip with the nice glass! Do you have a place you prefer to get your galss at? I just got a Majic Flight Launch Box in about a week ago. I'm still learning the best way to use it but so far it's pretty cool for small compact, and stealthy.

Da Budda was actually the vape I wanted but the shop I went to was out and I ended up coming home with the SSV. Same vape action between the two but the SSV has more fancy glass. I still always recomend DB unless the user wants someting fancy :)
The clam & pearl knob & mushroom heater cover came from ebay. I was lucky as hell to find those 'cause i have'nt seen anything even close come up since on that site. Although there are some SSVs there for less than $250 and they come with all sorts of accessories.
All the other parts i've been getting directly from 7th Floor.
For the whips they sell all sorts of hi quality medical grade colored tubing. It comes in 3 and 10 foot lengths for $4 or $12. I ordered ten feet of both blue and clear so I could have some nice five foot long whips :)

Very cool Vape... I am so jealous at this time.... but this is something to work toward... I got hub a arizer for valentines day due to $$. Coz I dont really know how he will like it. If he really likes it and ends up using it a lot I will get him a nicer one. He is so into smoking a pipe..... got to get him switched over... I think he should not be inhaling smoke now... I think it will be better vaping... just got to convince him!

Cool stuff with the Hubby T!
Doobies or Lefthanders as I like to call 'em are my thing. I think it goes back to when I smoked cigs. I quit cold turkey and never picked up another for 10 years now but I still get the fix from holding & burning a lefty. I'm also a pipe guy big time, especially during the day. At night the crazy glass & vape comes out. I'm still learning with the vape though. The high is just so much more intense it can really wreck me if I over do it.:tokin:

It was on my last journal when I first showed it off. Seems like one big long party right? :grinjoint:
