Yeah thanks guys! I quick dried that little bit of bud just to try my first taste.

It was good, but it was only about a third of a joint. lol

Those little buds were packed with female seeds like pomegranates.

Anybody who can grow can do this also. Colloidal Silver feminizing works people!!

Great job on the Buddhas Cross! Just started my two girls Fast and Vast autos from Heavyweight Seeds. Going to try the cs on one of the two and plan self pollination. So do you think 3 days of spraying will be enough? I am going to try 3 days as soon as one of the girls start flower, about three weeks I think. Thanks for doing all your work. I would like to try some of that Buddhas Cross pollen on one of my Fast and Vast girls.
Some day maybe we growers will be able to trade pollen. It will be good times then.

Yeah just keep spritzing Colloidal Silver until you see the nanners open bro!

That's what's proven to work. Maybe I'm confusing people with my experiments?

I spritzed the Buddha's Crosses lower buds 15 days, and pollinated over 10 days.

The only day I sprayed the leaves was the first day, and after that it was just buds, and nodes.

You keep it going until you see yellow powder, or get ripe looking nanners.

Ripe like ripe bananas. Not green, or yellow, but spotty, and old nanners.

Pluck those babies, and drop them on buds for ten days.

Finish with the dry, and grind of the leftovers, and your done. :)

Yeah those Fast and Vast autos are really interesting. I've been watching a few grows with them, and they look awesome. I hope we all can trade pollen one day, and seeds. I'm surprised how little support seed making gets. I think seed making should be a right of passage, and generally encouraged. "You're not really growing until you've made your seeds." Buying seeds does support cannabis reform financially, but seed growing supports real cannabis freedom. Seeds are almost unstoppable. They could even survive a zombie apocalypse. lol. Imagine running down the street with your clones being chased by zombies! haha. But a pack of seeds in your pocket, and both hands are free to fend off the brain biters! :rofl:

Thanks man. You can do this buddy! Just don't go nuts on the overspray, and pollinate like I do. Pluck ripe nanners, and sacs, and drop them right onto the buds. The extra step of drying in separate container is a mistake. Let the nanners do what they're meant to do. Drop a fresh payload of pollen into a bud. Not into a cup, or a glass unless you're planning on storing it.

That's fantastic. Good luck I know you've been keeping up. I'll bet you do great. I'm joking about zombies of course, but it does kinda help put seed making into perspective. Just imagine if we all made seeds?

A seed and pollen network would be awesome. I agree , if you don't know how to propogate , you will have nothing to trade or continue the science of cannabis . Awesome congrats on the 30 seeds. Keep up the good work toker.

Congrats on the successful cross!! thats a load of seeds in a short time and small buds...awesome!! id say you have def found a tremendous style of pollination with the CS made pollen!!
it will give dense seed production thats for sure!

So.... On you BC test bud. How long were the seeds allowed to grow before you cut the test branch? 10 days?

Yeah seeds are too much of long term goal for most growers. Plus our cannabis culture seems to believe they can only be properly grown by cannabis experts in foreign countries. You don't have to be an expert breeder to make seeds tho. From one generation of seeds you can grow for many years.

Thanks bro! That whole 69 thing is just a joke really. The toker handle was taken, and I tried a few variations until I found toker69 was available. Now I'm stuck with it I guess. I think it scares people more than make them laugh tho. I'm sure people are like wtf is he saying? lol. It's meaningless!!

Yeah I guess it's about ten days from the last day of pollination, but twenty days from the first. Still I'll wait the full forty days from the last day just to get my best results. :peace:

I use synthetic hydro nutes in coco. The nutes are from JR Peters, and it seems nobodies using them on 420 but me. I like it because I use the same simple formula from start to finish, but I do add koolbloom liquid, and dry in flower when growing for smoke, but I don't add koolbloom when making seeds. I tried it, but the the seeded plants take to long to finish. They seem to suffer after using KB for so long. I'm not sure if that really helps anyone tho because nobodies else is using my JR Peters nutes here.

I love it tho, because my plants do, and it's sooooo cheap! Like less then three bucks for a 60 day grow.

I've completed my 3 day spritz of Colloidal Silver on my HBD test plant.

On day one I cupped, and spritzed Colloidal Silver on the entire budding branch top. (leaf, and all)

On days two, and three I spritzed Colloidal Silver just in the tiny center of the bud. (pistils)

Now I'm just going to wait, and see what happens.

I estimate less than a thimble full of Colloidal Silver was used in doing this.

WARNING This is not my current working method, and is strictly experimental.

I need to pull flowers and finish my pollinating but I been working late all week :rofl:
I already did about half just doing as flowers are ready to be plucked

Man your really doing great buddy.

You got the hang of it now, and are a real Colloidal Silver success story.

The pollination times I recommend are minimum times.

You can let it take as long as you need to, but have to wait 40 days after for those seeds.

Thanks for really reading my thread, and really following my suggestions.

I can tell by your results you've really done that.

I wish it was just as simple as spraying Colloidal Silver on a plant.

But it's still pretty easy once you really learn how. Congrats!

I went by my local hardware store, and bought a bag of play sand.

I'm going to add a layer of sand to the top of my coco to fend off fungus gnats.

It was something I saw suggested by The Captain in another members journal.

I also bought some small pathway bricks at just the right size to set under my rose buckets.

Because I don't really adjust my Intelligent Gro LED's height, but rather bring my plants up, or down.

I didn't spend too much really. The 50 pound bag of play sand was only 4 bucks.

And the 6 inch square bricks were only 80 cents each, so I bought eight.

They're 2 inches tall, so I can stack a few to reach various heights.

I've already been using a few 8 inch cinder blocks like this for a few months.

I just wanted to add few more options to help achieve a more even canopy.

Otherwize I'm just waiting on my new DBD strain to show pistils.

So I can start hitting it with Colloidal Silver!

I'll share some photos of my new sand topping, and bricks when I get them setup. :)
