How to grow in Coco: Feed schedule

I was skeptical at first at whether I could really trust someone I don't know from Adam to recommend so many things.

I put my trust in man kind and its paying off. I also thought i may run into issues due to salt build up from feeding every day with no run off. I vegged for near enough 2 months with no problems (apart from the start things were abit iffy and a male being smack bang in the middle!)

I spent around £200 on products recommended by him and have couple things yet to get.

Hes also informed us all the main thing is environment and base nutes for those of us who cant fork out on all the extra additives evt.

It really does work and not only that but exceptionally well✌️

As you say plants dont lie

I've just finished my second ever grow by following cults feeding schedule and instructions. Let me tell you his methods work a treat and deliver fantastic results if followed correctly. Even by beginners!

I also read through many of cults grow journals and learned a bunch. Looking through his journals you'll find the pictures that show the results that cult gets from his methods and that back up the things he says. He has offered me and many others nothing but the best advice and I feel he's given me a fantastic base to learn from and go on and hone my skills further. If you follow his feeding schedule correctly it's very easy to understand and not complicated at all.

I felt confident in buying every item on his list because I knew he'd tried and tested many items over the years and if he has confidence in those items it gave me confidence in them too. I can't even begin to imagine how much first class information that cult has given out to many new and old members on this website over the years.

He really got myself and many others heading in the correct direction and is an asset to this community.

Thanks for all you do Mr Cultivator!

Thanks everyone. I've finally got my new credit card and have ordered the rest of The Cult's list to use exactly! And my 600W HPS's (with cool tubes) are arriving tomorrow. One little question? Has anyone erected a 2m x 2m tent alone? I did my 1.2 m x 1.2 on my own but it wasn't easy. I'd rather not ask anyone I know for help as I don't want even one person to know. Is it possible? Thanks again guys...

ok its not a pissing contest. its easy to grow 1 or 2 plants. try doing 500 or a 1000 at once and get consistency.

People follow my threads because I know what im talking about and has been tried and tested from 4 light grows to set ups consisting of 200 or more lights. No on has to follow my advice as thats all it is but alot of people have had great grows following my regime.
I know I've had success using cults method. But I've never tried watering, using any other method. By the way cult, I've conquered that no run off system.:MoreNutes:

its not so difficult to set up. A little fiddly if you havent set one up before but definately manageable.

Imagine setting up a 2m high tent when you are a short bloke. Get your little stepladder in the half folded tent. Would be a mission. Think if you assembled the top part of the tubing first it would make it a bit easier

Thanks! I'm not short...or a bloke. But I AM kinda inexperienced at DIY or manual sort of work. Normally I would pay someone young and strong to do it but I'm not interested in telling anyone so - where there's a will...etc! I'm so grateful for the advice and support.

Thanks very much, Cultivator. I'm enjoying your journals very much! And hopefully eliminating the need for a few stupid questions...x
Btw; I don't smoke anymore cos I get too wasted and don't enjoy it. I wish I could, though! I smoked basically everyday for 10 years then gave up when I lived in Amsterdam. However, I did get a bit wasted in the club's some nights - just from passive smoking! I suspect that you need to smoke it regularly to get the best effects?
Anyway, I hope your health is good.

I've not posted my pics before because there's nothing impressive to see and also I didn't know how to post them. But in the spirit of transparency; I'll give it a go.
This 1st 1 is the first seeds I germinated 2 weeks ago in Solo Cups. (Taken on 10th May)

These others were taken yesterday and include seedlings germinated 3 days ago, 8 days ago and 10 days..

The temps range: 62 - 75F. RH: 50 - 72%. I'm watering the older ones with 750ppm rainwater aerated by 2 airstones. pH: 5.8 - 6.2
N.B. The plants look darker green in real life but I learnt today (watching a Cult journal) that if your stems become pinkish (which a couple of mine did with the change to rainwater the other day) that it may be a magnesium def. so I added Epsom salt to nutes today. Hoping it works.

Hey JB
Nope. I've got 2 x 600W HPS (with cool tubes or something) and 1 x 600W LED. I'm probably short a light, yeah? And I don't know how to position those 3 either. i.e. the LED in the middle? Thanks for your advice!

Thats a better light set up then myself!..
Thats what i would do! Im not sure if the led would have to be any lower then the hps, someone else should be able to help you with your question better!

Well, you've just helped me straight away because I had not even considered the need for different distances from canopy!! They say raising children 'takes a village of people ' ...well raising indoor plants is a bit that way too, it seems! This 420 community has been a wealth of information and help. Thanks so much!

Glad i could help!
Im pretty sure Im right on the distance thing I THINK (99% sure) that led doesnt have as strong penetration and hps!

Someone should hopefully clarify this!

Cause i could be very wrong ..
Hey JB
I'm gonna post a coupla pics tomorrow (I'd do it now but my elderly cat is asleep on me and I don't want to disturb her) cos I need some advice on topping/LST on veg plants. Also, I put an 'Exhale CO2 Bag' in the tent last night and it might be totally unrelated but the little plants had a real growth spurt in the last 24 hours! I had decided whilst planning/researching this 1st indoor grow not to try CO2 - until I can successfully manage all the other factors. But browsing online, I saw some positive reviews (& negative!) on this product and thought for $70 it was worth a try just out of curiosity.
Have a great weekend JB - and all the other Cultivator's protégés!

If anyone could tell me - the oldest plants here are 3.5 weeks from seed. They have 5-6 nodes and are getting kinda bushy BUT why are they so short? I have 10 BigBud xxl fem babies (4 leaves) and do not want to make the same mistakes with them. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thx!
Btw; there's this OG called Harley Smith (NPK Growing University) who does lectures on YouTube that are really great. I learnt so much! Including (perhaps) why my plants are so short. Worth a look IMHO.:cheertwo:

Really? Oh thanks, Pat! My grow tent is a bit too crowded possibly? My problem is the 1st 2 seed orders to arrive were 'regular ' so I'm waiting for pre-flowers to cull. Sorry my photos are so huge, btw. Best I learn how to resize before posting in future. Thanx again!

Jip, obviously if the plant is more indica dominant it will grow naturally short and bushy so don't worry too much about that I had the same problem I only had regular beans so I got 2 females and 2 males. Eh worked out good in the end though. Nah don't stress about the photos they are perfect :)

The Uni lecturer (Harley Smith) on YouTube showed this hydroponic tomato farm in Arizona with 200 acres of glass greenhouses. And their computer adjusts the nutrients going into the rockwool according to the exact sunlight spectrums the plants are getting at any given moment & then the computer controls the CO2 levels (up to a maximum of 2,000ppm.) Imagine the yields?!? Surely they're not only growing tomatoes!
