Honey Cream / Chocolate Haze (RQS) - Suggestions Welcome

That's the last time you'll do that.. you got a big fuck off Sun grow light.
I placed flowering plants outside, within minutes they were visited by every flying insect in the neighbourhood, do they wipe their feet before landing? no man, god knows where they've been they just come in raid the fridge, shit all over your shit and piss off again.. good way to catch anything and everything that's out there.

I decided to wait until tomorrow, my logic being that when I do let them dry out a bit, it overall leads to a good result during veg, is that logic applicable to the plant during flower?
No. In veg you let them dry out because doing so makes them grow roots to go looking for moisture, but in flower roots don't grow much so you want to give them whatever water they'll drink. Don't keep the soil wet, but don't let it go dry like you do in veg.

Chocolate haze went crazy on me after getting her plain water today

Honey cream, a couple of leaves had tiny white flakes, removed and gave her another misting with ACV today, she’ll eat tomorrow

So I did think the above perkiness looks unusual, but I was quite content …

Only two leaves showed signs of what might have been powdery mildew, and they were removed, I haven’t sprayed ACV today:

But was it actually mold?
Apparently I had quite the fireworks going on every night after lights out, but I missed it, I had the back of a fridge (cannatrol) facing the tents main opening, I’m not sure if that caused what followed:

These tiny but very visible (in the dark) leds are continuously flashing, alternating blue/red/green and they happened to have been pointing at the mylar, I assume creating a spectacle.

I should have caught it when puffs of pollen kept falling as I thought I was dealing with the mold:

Mostly singles, less on chocolate haze.
A couple of buds on honey cream had small clusters of up to 4-5

I removed them all and corrected the lights situation.

I haven’t experienced hermies before, so I need to start learning about the extent of the damage and what can be saved, they still look good but I’m under the impression that the delicious scent they were giving out has changed.

I initially used to be extra careful about light sources during flower, but as I ran across content creators explaining that it doesn’t need to be pitch black, and that in nature there’s going to be moonlight on most nights of their cycle, I got a bit too relaxed about the idea that a small humidifier led or similar could cause damage.

Went through every bud site today, removed everything that was visible, not much was left after yesterday’s sweep,

I pick:

- Salt stress

- if light intensity can be an issue without visible signs of leaf tip burn or curling then it’s the second culprit

- if nutrient lock out is a possibility without the leaves pointing it out, then there must have been a bit of that

- the temp swing is 8 degrees C - am/pm hasn’t been an issue before

too much of a newbie and not enough of a reader to say more than there’s either something off with the lights, or they might be designed for pros with plants in tiptop condition and using supplemental CO2.

All looking good today, I doubt there was ever powdery mildew

Starting to demonstrate ladylike behavior:

Hoping we’ve seen the end of this unpleasant detour and pollen sacs don’t keep reappearing.

We’re starting week 4 of flower

Oh no! not pollen.. the budding still looks good though.
Say what is that light you got again? Is it medicgrow? as I see 70's has one of those with a veg spectrum and I'm wondering if that's the case here as might explain why they keep short in veg.

Do you measure the light or vary the light during grow?
Yes light stress can occur without the burn, and yeah I general I think you just need to ease up a little with everything, again leading them with a carrot on stick instead of trying to push or showering it with apples.. It can stress or make them lazy.

The lights are ionframe evo 8 from a/c infinity

I Usually do 3 setting for seedlings, veg and flower with respective heights.

I don’t measure the lights intensity ..

That’s interesting that the lights can cause stress without visual signs, I’ve been feeling that this has been going on, it kind of stunts them.

Yes I’m still oscillating around the sweet spot of everything, still hit and miss ..

They look ok, here’s from today, the scent is intoxicating on chocolate haze, but the ACV spray threw honey cream off for now, looks like they’ll make it butI wonder how affected the final result will be.

Yeah light stress doesn't have to be a burn, that's a specific form of light stress, too little can stress, too much but not close or hot enough to cause light burn but still stress the plant.

Ah yeah no that light doesn't have switching spectra and that's a super powerful light.. you have some CO2 bags but that
could be a problem, you got mega blaring light and tiny crop in relation to it that's not necessarily a good thing.
Get a lux meter and convert or download that photone thingy if you have a smartphone pay a couple of euros for the Led Full Spectrum and even though it has an error margine it's close enough to be functional.

And well I'd first try to get them to take off again without CO2 as since you're hanging bags I do take it you try to use a lot of light. Don't need that much to make it big,
Yeah you're trying to hit sweetspots but with the gear you got you're trying to hit high end sweet spots.
Dial it back I'd say.

Or I invite you to join the bottom feeders.. that would take the over/underwatering out of the equation, and gets explosive growth and plants that can move a lot more.

Thanks for sharing
Yeah it was confusing how I put it about the lights setting,
Will need some guidance on harvest as it’s been more miss than hit, I will elaborate and ask when it’s closer to harvest

Chocolate haze looks and and smells like nothing happened, might be because her flowering cycle is 9 - 11 weeks ..

Honey cream though 7 - 8, I think we lost her 🪦

She hermied …
Looks like she’s growing more seeds than bud
Hope you’re doing great
Rexer isn’t back yet?
No unfortunately he is busy with his new job.
I see hairs sticking out of those calyxs.
But could have seeds. :Namaste:

:( yeah they look a bit too plump not to be making seeds? Hey those are a healthy snack!
Plump Maby but not necessarily polluted.
Check a couple before you cull.
May just be a lot of swollen calyxes.
