Homer's Legal 4-Plant Max Perpetual Minimalist Garden In Ontario

You really know your strains, Penny! :thumb: Once I get my seed making going I am I hoping people online might want to do some horse-trading. It really does make sense as opposed to buying.

I'm in for trading! :)

It does make sense because if I get a killer strain from what I read I should be able to get 100's of seeds from one plant so I would have way more than I could ever grow so why not exchange to get more diversity. We could all vastly expand and increase our seed quality and diversity.

I was thinking along the same lines! Of course, need some pollen to actually show up!

Yes, that is also the crimp in my plans, lol.

Hopefully this winter we can get some seeds going.

I have my STS from Old Salt and my NL Sensi seed is in the soil so hopefully, I should have some in the not too distant future. I am a little concerned because she still hasn't popped her head up yet.

Give her time I have faith! Lol

Lol... She is a little late but I haven't given up on her. Hate it when the ladies are late, lol. :p

I got my STS from Salt as well. Not sure if you saw it, but I linked an interesting article about STS on Salt's seed-making thread. Between it and the instructions in Penny's signature, got some good advice. I changed my technique up a bit as a result. No pollen though... yet.

Are you going to self-cross the NL, or cross it with something else?

I was thinking that there are enough well-known Cdn growers here on 420 that we could do a bit of a purchasing co-op if there is enough interest of course.

I wonder what technique you are using? Meaning when and how often and for how long are you spraying?

I am planning on making fem NL seeds from my Sensi seeds and then maybe cross that with my WW or maybe some straight WW seeds too because the one plant I grew of that was my best. Basically, I will make seeds of my best strains and do some crossing too.

Yes, it would be great to get a little co-op going. And with stealth mailing, it could be worldwide!!

Be careful how you word things, selling, buying and trading seeds is a no no.

Thanks for the heads up Penny; I had no idea. I can see selling and buying a no no but i am surpised trading is too. Anyone following along please disregard the last few pages!!!

LOL on stealth worldwide....

On the STS application, I had been using a paint-brush, and trying to catch the plants before they threw pistils. I had been applying every day, or every other day, depending on my schedule.

The changes I made were to reduce the frequency to at most every three days, and sometimes every fourth day. I now use a spray bottle for better, more even coverage (I cover up the branches I want to avoid, as well as the soil itself, until the leaves dry). I also added a diluted drop of castile soap to prevent the "sheeting off" of the liquid, so that it sticks better. Most important, I think, is that I have continued applying even with pistils, directly on the pistils. A tip from @Mr. Krip. I may have missed the window on this current plant - an auto, so I couldn't time the pistils/flip exactly. But I will keep trying.

A NL x WW sounds like a powerful combo. Good luck with it!

From what I have read I think you are better off spraying and Penny suggests every 3 days so I think you are on the right track. Interesting about spraying pistils. Good luck. I am hoping you have it all figured out before I try, lol.

I’ve been spanked a couple times for talking about shipping and sending seeds.

The site is so great I don't want to get spanked so I will abide.

I think it would be a good strain but what I really like is I could call it White Lights or Northern Widow!!!
