Homer's Legal 4-Plant Max Perpetual Minimalist Garden In Ontario

I just looked and they do have the Dinafem Purple Afghan Kush at the seedbank in Niagara Falls so in the near future I will pick some up. They want $80 for five but that is Canadian dollars but the WW that did so well for me is only $70; hope that means it is even better!!! :headbanger: :thumb:

I like The PAK better than WW

That is pretty impressive to read because their WW was my best producer at seven ounces and I think my next best is under five and it was good stinky bud. Definitely looking forward to trying out the PAK. Thanks for the heads up.

I think G2 ran some PAK and was a Bubba leaner.

I kind of like the idea of pineapple aroma but the biggest stickiest buds is my main concern so if I get that I can put up with any smell. Be interesting to see what I get.

I’ll bet it’s in the coffee and earthy side.

I found this about Bubba Kush:

"Bubba’s stocky plant stature and bulky bud structure suggest Afghani descent, but its genetic origins aren’t certain. The breeder whom this strain was named after states that Bubba Kush emerged just after 1996, when an OG Kush hybrid pollinated an unknown indica strain obtained in New Orleans. The mother plant was supposedly Northern Lights, but the genetically ambiguous indica was simply called “Bubba.” Bubba Kush has flourished from its California roots ever since."

I only medicate at night so I only want sedative strains so this Budda sounds right up my alley so coffee and earthy is just fine. :thumb:

That is good. I have some WW seeds left and one of my Sensi Northern lights is growing and when I get some PAK I should have a nice stock for some seed making.

I am really curious about this old stock Northern Lights from Sensi because what I wonder is if all these newfangled strains are just a gimmick to make people buy their strains or if more modern strains are actually better because they have had better characteristics bred into them or if it is just for marketing.

I really don’t know if the good old strains are best or if the newer ones are? It does seem like they are getting crazy THC levels in some new strains, like I think close to 30%. But you never seem to see those available for sale.

It gets confusing but I'm leaning more towards the old heirlooms. A big percentage of the hype strains have NL in their lineage. Sensi has the real deal without a doubt.

I have no real evidence that it is true but I just have a hunch that old heirlooms are better too. Maybe because so many things today seem to be more hype than substance. I really hate it when I sound like an old man but I think that is true, lol.

These hype strains are all genetically related it seems, I prefer the old school beasts myself.

That is good to know Penny because that is the route I was taking in my seed choices and since you have so much more experience I will continue that way. Thanks.

I am definitely on the hunt for old school beasts now!!! :headbanger: :p :thumb:

Sapphire Scout by Humboldt HSO is at 27% and available from Seedsman. I'm fairly certain they have strains with a higher THC content. For really crazy cannabinoid levels check their Cream & Cheese. I'm running some now, and doubt it'll live up to its billing of 22% THC / 18% CBD from the same plant!
