Homer's Legal 4-Plant Max Perpetual Minimalist Garden In Ontario

I’ve seen multiple members run Sapphire, looks like a solid chemovar.

I think the Sapphire Scout requires less light during the seed to veg stages. Mine stayed short with very tight nodes, and had slow growth until the flip. It then really took off, with a lower light level than the others in the tent, as its top was further from the light (almost two feet / 60cm vs one ft./30cm).

Sapphire Scout by Humboldt HSO is at 27% and available from Seedsman. I'm fairly certain they have strains with a higher THC content. For really crazy cannabinoid levels check their Cream & Cheese. I'm running some now, and doubt it'll live up to its billing of 22% THC / 18% CBD from the same plant!

Those Cream and Cheese levels are so extraordinary I had to check it out online for myself and yes it is exactly as Old Salt says. Usually with these high CBD strains that are around 1 to 1 the total is only around 20% so it seems pretty hard to believe that this one could have a total of around 40%. I mean almost half the bud must be trichomes! I would really love to see the results of this because it is hard to believe but if true pretty sweet.

One of the freebie seeds I grew a while ago was a Yummy which had half Humboldt genetics and that thing had a really unpleasant smell so I would be a little leery to try the Sapphire Scout but I would be interested to try some of Seedman’s other high THC strains so I will have a look thanks, Old Salt.

@DrSeeds just got a new 18:1 Harlequin in stock!

I don’t think they have anymore of their 20:1 currently but that’s another CBD option!

Good to know Dutch. I may be set for now with CBD because my Dinamed seems to have turned a corner in flower stage after being a dud in veg. But depending on the results of the 20:1 I may try it if it becomes available again.

I take this claims with a grain of salt

I agree since no one I know tests their potency at a lab the breeders can claim just about anything. But I would love to be proved wrong... :p

Hmmmm.... I tried checking out the high THC strains in high THC catagory on the Seedman site and the highest that comes up on that page is 25% so the Sapphire Scout is not included in the high THC category but it is on the site when the search function is used so I wonder how many other high THC strains they have that isn't included in the high THC category?

That was originally bred by Exotic Genetics, I think Bobrown has that in his stash.

You really know your strains, Penny! :thumb: Once I get my seed making going I am I hoping people online might want to do some horse-trading. It really does make sense as opposed to buying.

Should be able to find folks willing to trade.

It does make sense because if I get a killer strain from what I read I should be able to get 100's of seeds from one plant so I would have way more than I could ever grow so why not exchange to get more diversity. We could all vastly expand and increase our seed quality and diversity.

Look around 420, I’m sure there’s lots of folks thinking the same thing.

That is my plan but I am putting the horse in front of the cart because I have to successfully produce some fem seeds first. ;)

Ditto. Once I have produced the seed for a few strains, we're off. I'm not very interested in new strains, especially the F1-F3 generations as I'm not set up for pheno hunts. I'm more interested in consistency.

I am only interested in new strains if they are better strains.
