Homer's Legal 4-Plant Max Perpetual Minimalist Garden In Ontario

I hope you get one too, don’t let them dry out completely but like you said make them grow roots to find water.
Thanks, Penny. Yes, that's what I was thinking. Keep the roots looking for water by being miserly with the watering and keep the humidity at about 65% so they survive but aren't happy.

I’ll check mine for roots tomorrow
Good luck, I hope you fare better than me. What strains are they? I find that makes a big difference.

Chems aren’t easy to clone or reverse
It certainly seems that way. At least I did it once from the same seed already which gives me hope I can do it again.

It is now day 10 since I took my cuttings at which time according to the instructions I should have roots showing on 90% of my cuttings but here you can see the two cuttings I plucked today have absolutely no sign of roots despite being taken 10 days ago.

So I kept the largest cutting I had from the last batch and added three more today. The old cutting is on the left so you can see I took pretty big ones as per the instructions because it seemed to do better than the others. I am going to give these a few days with the dome closed to acclimatize them then I will open up the dome a crack trying to keep it about 60% and see if that does the job.

Here is my first generation Chemdawg under my second blurpble in the bud room. I’m surprised how much it has stretched being an Indica but it is getting so tall today I put my light in the rafters. After this I’m gonna have to do some super cropping if it doesn’t mellow out.

My Amnesia plant is budding up nicely but at around eight weeks I’m surprised how many of the hairs are still white; it looks like she has at least a few more weeks to go.

Hope everyone is well.

Let’s hope she don’t hit the rafters lol
She might, lol. I have never seen an Indica stretch so much. Kind of caught me off guard. I was worried I flipped it too soon for a while but, nope. I even have had the light on veg setting so it is getting a reddish light and it is still going nuts. Always surprises in the garden.

I have had cuttings take more than two weeks to start roots, basically all the leaves dried and died off, with just a small green nub that started from the top and then after looking closely , surprisingly tiny roots. Planted and they grew to be great plants... patience is the key lol, some don't make it but for the most part they are a weed and want to grow in their own time... :Namaste:

Have had plants shock me before.

They all do seem like unique characters.

I do agree, NAgrowing, about them taking their own time. The reason I gave up on this batch though was because I was trying a method I read about on the Internet that boasted I should have 90% of my cuttings rooted within the first 10 days.

The batch before this I let go for six weeks and they still didn't root. I am hoping that was because I made it too humid and comfortable for them so now I am going to try making it a little drier for them which will hopefully stimulate root growth.

But as Penny has said this is just a difficult strain to root because I usually have about 80% success with my old system. But yes I am going to leave these for a long time. Thanks for the input.

Just out of curiosity I googled what makes a weed a weed because everyone refers to cannabis as a weed but I was wondering if it really is one. This is an interesting read. WHAT MAKES A WEED | Weed Science Society of America

It’s definetly a weed then.
Using the criteria in the article it would be hard to argue otherwise but judging by what a formidable opponent they are in my yard I would think dandelions would be easier to clone.:p
