Homer's Legal 4-Plant Max Perpetual Minimalist Garden In Ontario

Ruderalis actually is native to Siberia, Northern Canada and Northern Alaska.
Oh, that is interesting. I figured it was just the opposite down south. My niece is actually going to school in Norway and that is so far up north the sun hardly sets this time of year so yes I can see the reasoning behind it now that you point it out to me.

Jack travelled all over the world promoting the Zoo.
Cool, I know I saw him on TV a lot. He was really pretty hilarious and entertaining which I am sure helped getting the word out.

Yes their growing season is so short the cannabis has to auto flower in order to reproduce.
That does make sense to me and also how can a plant be a photoperiod when there is no darkness at night.

Yes, the Wild Ruderalis only gets like 18” tall. One of the breeders was offering pure Ruderalis not long ago.
Very intriguing. It would be interesting to grow a pure ruderalis. Since they are so short and automatically bloom I would not be surprised if someone has tried to cross them with a pure sativa trying to use the ruderalis genetics to make the sativa physically shorter and have a shorter flowering period.

I also started with a loupe, @chenzi. Unfortunately that microscope I am using is almost worthless without a proper adjustment base. I made one but here is the kind you would need.
Thanks mate:Namaste:

I’m sure that’s been done quite a bit with autoflowering sativas.
I wasn't sure there was such an animal. I would think it would take a lot of dedication and pheno hunting to come up with a good set of characteristics. I'm sure there is a lot of junk out there in auto-flowering Sativas.

I find a lot of junk in autos period, Sunny is growing some really nice autos though.
I wouldn't know if they are junk because I only grew one freebie auto as I have avoided them because I don't like the idea that I can't control how long I veg and that I can't take cuttings of a good strain if it is an auto. But @MrSauga has had some pretty good luck with them too.

I got over a pound with 2 Brooklyn Sunrise Autos in a 10 gallon pot. So I guess it can be done. Personally I would run big pots. Small pots is a waste of time in my experience.

Nice haul getting a pound from one 10-gallon pot. The trunk on my Bruce Banner is so small in diameter I regretted putting it in a 10-gallon pot so I'm glad to hear your disdain for small pots. A pound off one indoor plant is a long term dream of mine; I would love that.

Well I had 2 plants in the 10 gallon but 1/2 pound each was still good I thought
Oh, I think that is great for 2 plants in a ten-gallon. Veg time matters more than the number of plants with the same pot size. A pound out of a ten-gallon is an achievement no matter the number of plants.

Bak at ya homer :high-five:I've been lurking for a bit:rofl: There's so much info here it's hard to keep up sometimes:lot-o-toke:
Hey, chenzi. I find it impossible to keep up with all the journals I want to also. :nerd-with-glasses:

Bruce Banner is looking nice and healthy and seems to have slowed down stretching a bit thankfully.

Bruce is a real HULK when it comes to resisting super cropping. This old wound shows where she was super cropped a few weeks ago and from the way she shook it off I didn't gain anything.

So yesterday I checked out an extreme form of super cropping called Super-Duper Cropping. It is very similar to super cropping but instead of deforming a section the width of my fingers I have deformed a much wider section an inch to an inch and a half in length along the branch. I Super-Duper Cropped a few branches last night and so far they have not sprung up like they have with regular super cropping on Bruce Banner.

For only 10 days since flip Bruce seems to be blooming along nicely.
