Homer's Legal 4-Plant Max Perpetual Minimalist Garden In Ontario

Can’t wait for my GG to finish, won’t be a lot but it’ll be good.
I am sure yours will be awesome because it is, The Real McCoy!

Homer...tent shot looks cool side by side.
Thanks , cr8grow. I just finished assembling the two articulating arms I bought online attaching to my tripod and iPhone. This way I can get right inside my plants and photograph any buds and make sure the camera doesn't move so I have a sharp photo. I could probably get away with one arm for most shots but I just wanted to see how it worked with both. I use the timer so things stop shaking by the time the photo is taken. Photo soon to follow.

Homer...I need more info on the set up. Not for photos, but see the advantage, I want a stable mount for my wifi microscope...this could be the solution.

Nice setup brother

Thanks, buddy.

I need something like that I am not steady at all with my phone. I use my camera alot on the tripod just a pain to upload to the computer.

I was always cursing my iPhone before I retired but now that I have time especially being in isolation generally to dwell down and figure out how my gadgets work more so and I did a problem connecting also. One thing I had NordVPN and that was constantly disconnecting my camera to my computer. Also Windows tries to automatically access it and I have found that a nightmare so I just go through my computer files to get to it which I find rocksolid.

Below is the link for the arms. They have 3/8 standard thread ends just like the fittings they use for camera bases. Problem is they have male threads on both ends so you will need a connecting nut to join the arm to a tripod base and I needed a second one to join the arms together. I would have just picked one up at the hardware store but because of the virus, I just made a couple out of brass by drilling and tapping in the garage today.

Here are the photos I took tonight with my new stand contraption and I am just shocked at what good quality pictures an iPhone seven will take. The first picture looks pretty sharp and came out well.

The photo below though is the one that blows me away because the photo on the right is an enlargement of the yellow section of the first pic and it is sharp enough at that enlargement to pass as a perfectly decent photo. The more I play with my iPhone 7 camera the more impressed I am with it.

Those photos are great very clear even in the last photo. I can still zoom in for a closer look and it's still amazing quality.

Yes, I am pretty surprised what a good quality camera an older iPhone has. I think the secret to the quality of that picture besides the good optics inside the camera is the fact I used the 10-second timer so when the shutter went off the camera was dead still.

In the properties of the photo file, it says the shutter speed on that photo was 1/337 seconds which is pretty fast but a tripod is always better for quality. The aperture was f/1.8 so probably wide open which is why the shutter speed could be so high and why the buds in the distance were out of focus. Pretty tempting to get a new phone because you can control that with the new phones.
