Homer's Legal 4-Plant Max Perpetual Minimalist Garden In Ontario

I use my iPhone seven as my primary photography camera because it is sharper than my Canon camcorder so I have been researching it trying to get the best out of it and I learned a few interesting things.

First I got the iPhone 7 not the iPhone 7+ and that makes a big difference in the camera. My camera has a single lens that they call wide angle which is the equivalent of a 28 mm lens with a 35mm camera. A 50 mm is considered normal perspective or how a person’s eye sees with a 35mm camera. 35mm used to be that diagonal dimension of the film frame which now is the camera sensor. That means a 28 mm lens is a very wide-angle lens being about half of a normal focal length.

The iPhone 7+ has a second camera with a second lens that is called telephoto that has twice the focal distance as the wide-angle lens I have on my iPhone 7. So the so-called telephoto lens on the iPhone 7+ is actually only 56 mm which means just barely 10% more telephoto than a standard neutral lense. I’m not saying iPhone is doing anything deceptive because they are probably presenting the most utilizable lenses they can for most situations but photographing plants would look much better with a real telephoto lens of about two times a normal lens which is what is usually used in portrait photography because it gives a better perspective and produces a narrower depth of field which is another story.

So what I am saying is my iPhone seven is really too wide-angle to take a proper perspective picture of my plants and they would look better with a lens with a longer focal length but being an iPhone seven if I zoom in I am just losing quality because it is not an optical zoom instead they basically just crop the picture so lose quality. So I have been looking online and for about $100 I could get a fairly decent two times telephoto attachment which I am thinking of.

Consistency is the key to growing good cannabis.
Very well put and true.

That should be called, Penny's first law of growing; "Consistency is the key to growing good cannabis.".

Here is my Gorilla Glue after I staked her to keep her upright and put a string around her to keep her drooping bud ladened branches upright.

Geez Homer! So cool. I really need to figure out the settings on my phone camera... Regardless, I can almost smell her from this picture. WoW.

Thanks, BooWho2! I had no idea how good my iPhone 7 camera was till I was retired and had the time to dwell down on it.

She is nice and sticky and smells nice up close but surprisingly and gratefully she doesn't stink up the whole house so the best of both worlds with this lady.

OMG!! I just caught a pic of the rare tiny Bobble-Headed Snake! So lucky to capture this elusive gem.

In all seriousness obviously this is the same seed I posted yesterday, the variety of which continues to escape me. Pretty amazing how much more she grew in just 24 hours when considering how much that growth is compared to the overall size. It would be like a 3-foot plant turning into a six-foot plant overnight. Anyway, I put her in a yogurt container of soil today so she is off to the races.

Oh yes. I just recalled, the strain is Amnesia.

Good looking tap root on her
Yes, for sure, thanks. Nice and white and growing like a beanstalk. Looks like a vigorous little gal.

Lol let’s see if she grows up to meet expectations.
For sure. They can be unpredictable I find. A box of chocolates. But that makes every grow unique and interesting and at times frustrating.

Was the plant in veg or flower stage when you did the pruning?
I think it was shortly after I flipped it to 12 hrs which I think is when most do it.
