Homer's Legal 4-Plant Max Perpetual Minimalist Garden In Ontario

Day 2 of life above ground my Bruce Banner still is wearing her shell for a hat but it looks like it will fall off sooner than later. Other than her headgear she is doing very well at this stage. :)

It’s looking good so far.
Thanks, Penny. I know its awfully early but since she got to this stage there is a good chance she will go all the way.

Nice day 2 photo! :bravo:

Kinda looks like a little duck. Quack quack.

Thanks, BigD. Yes!!! I also thought it looked like a duck, lol.

Homer...that is awesome...great composition and better subject matter...I will be watching this one.

Thanks a lot, cr8grow. It is cool folks like my pics because I do enjoy playing around with the programs trying to figure them out and with the virus I have lots of time.

I couldn't be happier with how my Gorilla Glue is looking considering not too long ago I feared she was spiraling down to an untimely death. With a 10 gallon pot for the first time and veg time of 67 days, this is definitely the biggest plant I have had so I am really looking forward to how she performs in flower.

She has some damaged lower leaves still and a little bit of tip damage from when I blasted her by turning up my LEDs and causing a calcium deficiency but other than those few war wounds she is looking pretty healthy and ready to do some serious budding!

She also has already the biggest trunk I have had on any plant and they do tend to bulk up in the early part of flower pretty substantially. She looks about 7/8 of an inch but with parallax error, I think she's close to 15/16 already.

Nice looking plant, can’t wait to watch her bloom.
Thanks, Penny. If it weren't for your help she could very well be dead.

Me too, I think she is going to be fun to watch. I flipped her a few days ago so it should start soon.

That’s a really nice plant :yummy: You should be proud of yourself for hanging in there and not giving up on her.

Thanks, BigD. It is such an investment in time I can't give up on them till they die.

It is hard to believe the hypocrisy of some of our Conservative government officials. Julian Fantino was the Commissioner of the Ontario Provincial Police from 2006 to 2010 and was later a Conservative Member of Parliament.

He once compared cannabis to murder: ”Fantino, a longtime opponent of marijuana legalization, told the Toronto Sun in 2004 that legalization would not cut down on crime, adding: "I guess we can legalize murder too and then we won't have a murder case. We can't go that way."

In 2017 the hypocrite opened a business connecting patients with medical marijuana.

I have known this for a while but what brings this to mind is today I read that our former Conservative Prime Minister, Brian Mulroney, who during his reign introduced legislation to keep marijuana in the same legal category as heroin has received $13 million for his role as a director at Acreage Holdings, a cannabis company.

The cannabis industry continues to shell out big bucks for those at the top, including $14 million to this former Canadian PM

It seems Conservatives throughout the world will hold any draconian position to gain power but once out of power will contradict all their earlier beliefs for the holy dollar. Birds of a feather.

I did my monthly shopping yesterday and couldn't find any isopropyl alcohol anywhere. Funny because it was the one item I wanted most and the only one I couldn't find, lol. No big tragedy, I will just continue to use ethyl alcohol for now.

It's in short supply due to the pandemic. Shopper's Drug Mart gets regular supplies, but you need to be there within 24 hrs of its arrival to get any. I found out when they get their supply in and bought later the same day.

I assumed it was due to the pandemic but the odd part is that there was tons of hand sanitizer in every store. I went to three grocery stores and they didn't have any and by the time I got to shoppers drug Mart, it was already 7 o'clock so they were closed.

I have no idea how immunocompromised I am from my cancer therapies so to be on the safe side all I do is shop once a month for groceries with my N100 mask so for now, I am going to just wait till the grocery stores get it back because the ethyl alcohol does the job and I have enough for the foreseeable future. Thanks for the input.

I go weekly, in the senior's time slot wearing a full face Powered Air Purifying Respirator with A P3 R / P100 filter canister. I'm not immunocompromised, but have enough underlying health problems that it would kill me within two weeks. My wife has the same problem. It was a challenge mounting my old glasses in the mask.

I shaved off my beard off for the first time in 30 years as I learned in the military gas hut that you can't get a good seal with one.

I think you are smart going with the full face shield. I was pretty surprised yesterday because only about one-third of the people were wearing any masks at all but I did see one other person with a cartridge type N100 mask like I was wearing.

Chances are we would both be okay if we got the virus but then again the chances in my humble opinion are high enough that all reasonable precautions are warranted. Even if it doesn’t kill a person it can ravage the body and leave permanent damage not to mention just going through weeks of feeling horrible. I don’t understand people not even wearing masks.

I have a full face shield also but without the forced air it fogs up in no time so I wore a pair of goggles and scotch-taped an old pair of glasses on the inside that I remove the temples from. I think I am going to start going more than once a month because it was physically a pretty challenging event and I’m pretty sore and achy today moving all that cargo, LOL.

Yeah, it took multiple trips to get the groceries into the house yesterday. I also had to go to Princess Auto for a new lawn tractor tire, and install that. I mowed the lawn too, and today I'm totally useless. With a calcified leaky aortic valve it takes hours to get rid of the lactic acid build up from any physical activity.
