Homer's Legal 4-Plant Max Perpetual Minimalist Garden In Ontario

I am pleasantly surprised that my tincture gives me a much more pleasant high than my olive oil extract does. I don't get that hard to describe physical anxious feeling I get from my olive oil extraction and it is also much more sedating and I am sleeping better.

It isn't the same as smoking but it is a vast improvement over the olive oil method. I have no idea why but I read cannabinoids bind to fat which is why things like butter and olive oil can be used to extract them and why THC can be detected tests for months because it binds to fat cells in the body, unlike alcohol. Don't know if that has anything to do with it.

I strongly recommend getting a copy of CBD, A Patient’s Guide to Medicinal Cannabis by Leonard Leinow and Juliana Birnbaum. This is my go-to source for information regarding the medical use of cannabis. It includes the how cannabis affects the body, methods of use, and has recommendations for the treatment of many medical conditions and diseases, including cancer. A review of this book was published by Teddy Edwards. The ebook is available from North Atlantic Books for $14.99 USD. They offer a 45% discount on your first order.

Thanks old salt; I read Teddy's review and it sounds like a pretty solid resource. I wasn't sure how much CBD oil was responsible for feeling better because taking it coincided pretty closely with my retirement with my job being pretty physically demanding. But I stopped the CBD about a month ago for a week or so as an experiment and I quickly felt like I was 20 years older with aches and pains not just in my joints but in my muscles as well so there is no doubt in my mind now how beneficial it is.

I will probably order a copy but I'm not too confident when it will arrive. I was going to order a line replacement head for my Weed Wacker from Amazon till I noticed the delivery date could have been as long as August 5.

North Atlantic Books isn't shipping to Canada at this time so I ordered it from Amazon.ca and amazingly it is supposed to arrive by Friday.

Although the title emphasizes CBD, it covers THC as well. I got the ebook. It was instant gratification, and I take a copy everywhere on my phone. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Good to know it covers THC as well. Ebooks are handy but being a reference book I prefer a physical book, not sure why, lol. Thanks again. :thumb:

Hello Homer, Glad to hear that you like the alcohol tincture, great when a dab will do ya!! Your Gorilla Glue plant looks great, it sure bulked up quick, that is one big main trunk, it will get that food to where its needed. I like your selection for next grow, Bruce Banner good choice.. Cheers

Hey, BudShark. I do prefer the alcohol tincture over my olive oil extractions but I can't help tinkering so I think next I will try using rubbing alcohol to see if I can get more extraction.

Yup, thankfully the old Gorilla Glue seems happy again and since it is taking up about 75% of my 3' x 3' flowering area I think I will flip it in the next few days. Glad you like the Bruce Banner but unfortunately after 24 hours it hasn't cracked yet but hopefully it's just a slow starter.

Got some good news this morning when I checked out the Bruce Banner; after soaking for about a day and a half she has developed a bit of a taproot already. She might end up being more of The Hulk than Bruce Banner! :headbanger:

I am going to soak her in wet paper towels for a couple of days before I put her in soil and as soon as she breaks surface I will flip my Gorilla Glue which has been vegging for nine weeks and one day. If all goes according to plan which it rarely does.

Homer...that is great...the scale of the shot is what I love...that is a baby Hulk seed...Go Homer and big baby Hulk.
Thanks, cr8grow. Looking good so far but this is the critical do or die time. I am haunted by memories of P-98, lol.

Homer, you have the Hulk on deck, good idea to have one start Veg while another starts the flowering, think the Hulk is going to hit it out of the park. Cheers
I have had a perpetual garden for a while; I used to use 5-gallon pots and I would start my seeds a couple of weeks after I flipped my vegging plants because that is all the time I needed to fill my 3 x 3 flower area but my Gorilla Glue is the first generation I have switched to 10-gallon pots.

Because of the bigger pot I am going to start my seeds as soon as I flip so that way they will get about 10 weeks of veg. I am hoping to get about the same amount of yield using 1-10 gallon pot with a couple of weeks extra of vegging as I used to with 2-5 gallon pots.

I am curious if my new seed is going to be a Bruce Banner or a Hulk. Dr. seeds says that this plant should yield between 23 and 28% THC and is a heavy yielder so it could be promising.

The taproot on my Bruce Banner about doubled in size in the last 24 hours and is looking pretty healthy so tomorrow I will be dropping her in soil in a 10-gallon pot.

The Gorilla Glue has nicely rebounded from her bad reaction to the extra light from cranking up my MegaLight. It seems that with LEDs less is definitely more. Once Bruce Banner breaks ground hopefully three or four days after I plant her tomorrow I will flip the Gorilla Glue to flower mode. It's deceiving how big it is in this photo because I usually have 5-gallon pots but this thing is dwarfing a 10 gallon; definitely the biggest plant I have had at this stage. Things are going well which always makes me nervous, LOL.

My Bruce Banner had an impressive spirt of growth today on the 3rd day which was encouraging so I planted her in her 10-gallon pot. It's out of my hands now and all I can do is wait.
