High Stress & Other Training With Defoliation: Starting Indoor, Finishing Outdoor, First Time To Buy Seed, Somewhat A Newbie Cannabis Grower

Also update. If I start a indoor grow I will be cloning from the bottom once ready till harvest to get as many crops in this year as possible. I will also be experimenting with supper cropping as well. Was going to wait till next year but challenge accepted. Again please pour in some info and fast set up ideas please, greatly appreciated, thanks.

Also here is an update pic from our last job and we are starting on enclosing 8 thousand square foot building.

Ok now I can’t say I see my girls exploding this much yet. but I watered my tomatoe plants with the enzymes and vitamins and they doubled in size. I’m like damn, they on steroids. I wish I had before pics because they going crazy. Will have to prune them shortly. Clones just recieved their enzymes and vitamins. Can’t wait to see what happens with all my crops. If I have a bad day I just go sit with my plants and nature takes care of me lol.

So the ph was totally me, tap water is 8.0. Ugh so much wasted in the time I already put in them. But it’s a learning curve. For the people that read this can you ask around, I will post another thread to hopefully get others eyes on it.

If I drip line straight from tap how would I control the ph to make it easier on me and the girls. I will nute by hand and can control the ph then. In your opinion what is my best option to do to limit handling ever gallon of watering. I’ll be nuting with 20% of water to soil ratio. Is this fine or is there any other recommendations. Greatly appreciated for the help.

I don’t know how much your budget is but I’m gonna be going with Timber cobs when I upgrade soon. Here’s the one I’m looking at, it covers a 5x5 area but it is expensive. These light grow awesome bud though and if your pretty handy on building things you could probably buy the kit and put everything together yourself and save quite a bit of money.✌️

Ok, so I meet up with my dad before we started our dad and he’s like you need to put on a different shirt. I replied why, he said you smell. I was like I took a shower last night, he replied you smell like marijuana. Lol, I knew my girls smelt good but I didn’t know they left a lingering sent on me. It made my day to know I smelt like my girls.

Updates will come when they come, I feel like a slave working and studying / reading. like I’m in school and I don’t even like reading. But as my elders always told me hard work with good knowledge pays off.

Lol, that’s funny. My wife won’t even do my laundry with hers cause she says the smell gets on her clothes lol. She does all my cloths by their self lol✌️

Update on the girls.

It has been a sleepless night... haven’t had time to transplant them during the day so I stayed up tonight and got em done. It will give me a couple weeks until I need to transplant them again. I basic feel like I just doubled the soil size. But I can say they are stretching and getting bigger. Iafter I took them outside for the two hours that evening. I planned on slowly adjusting them to the light. Well that didn’t happen either and they seem to be just fine, now after a few days out. I got some bad bugs like spited mites and a few more but I’m noticing the good bugs have came and cleaned everything up. I’m not spraying for bugs, just letting Mother Nature take care of itself. It’s kind of nature’s natural way of defoliation. Roots where packed at the bottom didn’t notice to many on the sides. but I did add some soil to them some time before moving them outside. I also flushed the about 4-5 hrs before transplant and 95% or more of the soil stayed together. I did a 10 parts of top soil 5 parts peat moss 1 part perlite. I did that bc the soil was drying fast, I still had good drainage from the soil in the bags and I used what I had at the moment. Will see how this ratio works to determine my final bed ratio.

Feel better now that is over but got to find time to get @ 30 yards brought in and the final beds made. I’m just debating in going with 200 gallons instead of 400-600g beds. If I got with 400gallon pots that will be 60yards.

In the next day or so I will start tying down (bondage) the girls and talking dirty to them. Have some rain coming in the next few days and after that I’ll add enzyme and vitamins again.

So thinking about what to do for my indoor op. I’ll need a few things to get it rolling. Make a hand made tent, smaller fans, something that can cool like a small ac, thermostat timers and meters, overhead lights and depending on lights will need something to adjust the height, vertical lights, hand made 5 gallon bucked co2 generator, co2 meters (might not do co2), 5’x5’ spil prevention set up and maybe a few other items I think I’m forgetting.

We’ll see what I can get done with the time I have. Maybe I should start a thread on how not to go so big and only start with 4 girls with a few clones rather than 30 girls and now 57 clones lol.

Hope all is doing well, post your recent grow pics and set-ups so I can get some ideas. Will try an take some pics tomorrow, well later today.

Here is a side profile.

I know I’m going backwards but from right to left is ogk, kc33, blb, sod, nth, whw, the the cross is the closer one followed by swt. I’m really enjoying the bush look already at the beginning of being outside. Remember I still have @ 3 months till flowering.

Then a pic of my clones. root growth is filling in nicely got a couple of weeks before I have to transplant them. Topped some of the tall ones, they’re stretching faster than their mothers, which is totally fine to me.

I feel like this could be a nursery in the making. And if everything goes right I will double my order for next year and start even sooner. I would like to see if I could get some 10-15 pounders next year.

For some reason, I feel like they should be bigger but I have topped and defoliated a bit. O well can expect a basic newbie to be perfect. So in your opinion how do you compare these girls to your indoor grows that are a 1 1/2 to 2 months old? Just looking to gather more data. Thanks

Damn dude, your showin off good! Some great looking plants and can't wait to see how all this finishes out for you. I was skimming through and checkin out your pics. Impressive to say the least, makes me tired to think about all that maintenance...

:ganjamon:

... and that collection of clones, fuhgetabouutit!

Alright plants are growing vigorously so as you know I’m all about high stress this year. I was going to make a joke about it but all I’m going to say is I wanted to do bondage and they wasn’t cooperating so i broke all their legs.

Really good stretching has taken place since moving outdoors and I didn’t want to top right now with the vigorous growth. So idk if you still call this Lst but the repair hormones are going crazy right about now.

Serious question why is my finger so sticky from the juices from the plant? I didn’t think that happen till later in life.
